Nice design but very low quality
I am so disappointed in this shoe! They’re beautiful and I received a lot on compliments on first wear, they did not even survive their first trip out. I wore on a well maintained trail for less than 2 miles and got home to see the foam on the sides shredded. Beware; the quality just isn’t worth it!

Too narrow, poor quality
I was excited by these hiking shoes, but they're sized wrong and not up to New Balance quality. All my NB shoes/boots are a 7W, but these run too narrow and too long. Every spot hits in the wrong place on my feet. Great looking shoe but poor quality in addition to the sizing issue. Sole feels flimsy might easily tear. Cannot recommend - returned.

Light Supportive Comfortable
I read other reviews but ordered anyway. I Really like this hiking boot and I feel the toe box is plenty big. I live in the mountains at 8000 feet and I several miles Daily. These boots are light, comfortable and very supportive. I HAD been wearing another brand that also is two words beginning with an N and a F and those boots caused me to have hip pain. These New Balance boots are amazing and I am looking for a second pair now. I wish they made winter snow boots for hiking!

Cushy and grippy
I ordered a half size up and the fit is perfect. Cushy right out of the box. Great tread. Trekked about 45 miles in Iceland in them and they were perfect.

One bad shoe
Disappointed. The style is great but one shoe hurts the top part of my foot. Almost like the stitching is too tight. Too narrow. Other shoe is great. And I can't exchange anymore. I wore them out and realized this as I walked on dirt.

Not water proof
Maybe it's just me but I expect all hiking shoes to be waterproof since it's likley you run into some sort of water out in nature. But these are not.

Poor fit
I've worn many pairs of NB shoes in this size (8 wide) and this pair is completely different. Too small, too narrow. Don't you use the same fit models for all your shoes?!
