We love to grab our buddies and the Nemo Equipment Wagontop 8P Tent and head for our favorite campsite in the spring, summer, or fall. The single-wall design makes it easy to set up the tent once we arrive, and getting all our gear in is simplified by the unique design that allows for a lot of standing space. In fact, the Wagontop has more standing height and livable space than any other large capacity camping tent. When you need to change into your pajamas, no need to try to do it laying down. Simply cover the ventilating windows with the interior covers and get dressed like you normally would at home.

Terrible qua
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Had this tent for a while before we actually used it so I had no receipt and we had moved away from having access to any of the stores where purchased. As we where pitching I thought it looked great. It wasn?t till we had it fully pitched we noticed that many of the seems weren?t even sewn. A whole corner was missing any sewing. Not only could it not have passed, there was no way quality control even looked at our tent. We tried to work with it until at two am, winds kicked up and tore it completely open. I have now learned that just because the company was reputable, check everything as soon as you buy it. Costly lesson we had

Luxury Tent
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
If you are looking for a spacious tent, this is your best bet! The vertical side wall design creates even more space in this large tent (80 inches at it's peak). It's single tent wall design is unique because you don't need a rainfly. The tent material is waterproof, which is why no rainfly is needed. The build in over-hangs and windows provide plenty of ventilation so the tent doesn't get dewey in the mornings. Even though it's a massive tent, it's simple to set up and take down.

Huge Tent and nice features, Bit of Water Ingress
Overall, pretty dang impressive how big the space is for the 8p, lots of room for 8 people and their stuff (although my wife and I use it as a duo for tent glamping!) The vestibule is nice and big, there is tons of room inside and perfect for car camping when you're not going to be moving sites daily. Owing to it's size, it takes a while to set it up and tear down. It's not hard to set up, just takes about 15-20 minutes. Inside there are a nice amount of pockets and the 'wall' dividing the living quarters was nice to have when I stayed up reading and my wife went to sleep. The tent ventilated reasonably well all closed up in a wet rainy environment and was pretty comfortable in dry warm weather with the windows and vents opened. We ended up using it in a few days of heavy rain the first time out and did have some water ingress along the seam where the rain fly for the double wall section attaches to the single wall tent body. Maybe 4-5 tablespoons for 2 full days of rain. Some aftermarket seam sealing did the trick to keep water out since then, but I was a bit disappointed for how expensive it was to have to seam seal on the first use. Overall, I'd recommend the product if you're looking for a HUGE tent, but buy some seam sealant to go with it.

Amazing tent
We bought this for family car camping and it has turned out to be one of the best purchases we’ve made. The tent does not take up much space when packed and it extremely roomy when set up. Overall quality was perfect and withstood quite the down pour keeping us all dry.

Great for car camping
After years of camping in backpacking tents, I bought the Wagontop 8p for the size. It provides a ton of sleeping and gear space for a few people. During storms, the entire group can bring their chairs in and wait out the rain.

Huge and quality
My wife and I purchased this as our kids are now grown to the point where our Wagontop 4P is just a touch on the snug side for extended trips. As we found with our original Wagontop, the quality of the 8P is excellent. New pockets and improved window closure systems (compared to our 4P) are welcome additions. Highly recommended.
