Warmer than expected. Needs a wide option
bought this pad to use so my friend i was taking camping could use my nice 4.5 R value blow up pad on a previous cool weather camping trip. Temps got down to the mid 40's and this pad kept me warmer than expected with a 2 R value. My butt was a little chilly at first but after laying on the pad for a bit it warmed up and i stayed warm all night. was decently comfortable for a thin foam pad and i will definitely use this pad again as my summer pad as my other pad is far to warm for summer. My only real complaint is that i wish this pad came in a wide size. when laying down on my back there is literally no room for my arms on the pad unless i sleep on my side which is not comfortable with this style of pad. this is a back sleeper pad for sure. i have about two fingers of width on either side of my body remaining on the pad while laying down. my arms and elbows were touching the ground most of the night if i didn't have them tucked up on top of my torso. But enough complaining. Great pad, much warmer than i thought it would be, and ill definitely use it again. just wish it came in a wider 25inch or wider size

Good Pad. Needs to be wider
I tested a different name brand pads and this is the most comfortable. Except it only comes in a 20" option. My kids use it, but I had to find a different brand that offers a 24". I'm 6' and 170lbs, but I hate having my elbows hang off the side of the pad. Need a regular wide.

Best pad you can find
I did the entire PCT with a NEMO Switchback and absolutely loved it. I am a stomach sleeper and really enjoyed this pad. Perfect to always have a sit pad as well or take a siesta anywhere in the desert. If you are a side sleeper I would take caution, but otherwise this thing lasted great. Little beat down by now but for about 150+ nights of use for the price, can't beat it.

Indestructible
My indestructible Nemo Switchback is one of my favorite pieces of gear. It will never leak. Never. You can't hurt it. Go ahead and try. Drag it through briars. Sit on rocks with it. Give it your worst mistreatment, but this closed cell foam can take it. I've used mine over 100 nights, but I'll admit that I layer it on top of a 3/4 inch self-inflating pad for extra insulation when it's below freezing. And if durability isn't enough, it's also light and inexpensive.

Best sleeping pad I have ever owned. I'm not a fan of air pads as I've had many of them get holes in them while - this is fantastic, lightweight and warmer than I expected

As good as an air pad.
Essential for thru hiking! I popped too many air pads on the PCT, and finally I was fed up with it. (One tensor at mile maker 2000 and one therm-a-rest at mile marker 2300). Finally I picked up a switchback to finish my hike, and I was honestly surprised at how comfortable it was. Taking on my next hike for sure.

Sleeping pad
Do not sleep on this alone, but paired with an air pad this helps a lot.

Fantastic customer service
I ended up having to return my sleeping pad sadly due to a cancelled trip, but the return process with Nemo couldn't have been better. Customer service was fantastic, the return was easy, and money came back to me promptly.

Quick and comfortable!
Bought this as a substitute for an inflatable pad. This works great as it’s quick to set up or pack up, and provides enough comfort for a good nights sleep!

I note a carry bag is not available to protect the pad - what are people using to keep it safe? Any product people can recommend? I'd prefer not to carry it around int he box forever.
