Why We Like The Meldr Hammer

When setting up camp, we like to embrace the ruggedness of it without ditching style and efficiency, which is why we use the Meldr Hammer to drive our tent stakes into the ground. The stainless steel head and solid hickory shaft make our swings powerful while offering a wholesome, woodsy aesthetic. We love the hooked bottom, which serves as a stake-remover and bottle-opener alike.

  • Hammer for driving in stakes around camp
  • Stainless steel withstands abrasion from metal stakes
  • Hickory handle is tapered for ergonomic movement

Awesome design!

Does what a small hammer should, without breaking, tough as they come! Fit perfectly in my small pack, as a paleontologist I use it for splitting small shale looking for fossil fish, love it.

Great design.

Got this to replace old broken hammer. Great quality and handy bottle opener too.

Hammers stuff very well!

Has a nice heft and balance to it, works better for driving stakes than a rock. It seems over-designed with the bottle opener on the end, until you realize it also pulls tent stakes. It's a joy to get out and use! I'm sure it will last a long time, but "heirloom quality" seems like a stretch.

Expensive bottle opener

Bottle opener works fine. Wouldn't call this an heirloom product unless it's just going to hang on the wall.
