As an avid backpacker I initially purchased this tent due to its minimal weight, size, and features. Having used this tent twice now with the footprint on overnight backpacking excursions in inclement weather, I am thoroughly impressed with the ease of set-up, adjustment and tightening features for the rain fly, and overall weight of the product itself. However, on the side of the tent closest to the head, I notice that the rain fly does a poor job of covering the thin tent wall. Even with the footprint, careful site selection and setup, water seemed to accumulate between areas of the footprint and the thin tent floor leading to a wet floor in mild rain. Luckily my sleeping pad kept my bag and gear dry, but I am concerned that this could become a problem during heavier storms. If NEMO could improve this aspect of their rain-fly design to protect the tent better in heavy rain it would certainly lend itself better to such a high price.
