Great concept—almost awesome shower. Two flaws.
I love the idea of this shower. I used it for the past week for some off-grid camping. It worked…sort of. Flaw #1 is that the water pressure is very inconsistent. The foot pump worked well to pressurize the tank, but then the flow of water from the nozzle only worked well half the time. Sometimes great, sometimes not at all. As others have noted, sometimes it seemed to work better if I wasn’t holding the nozzle too high off the ground. But sometimes it worked great even at 6’ up. I checked for kinks in the hose under the bladder but nothing seemed visibly wrong. I’m not sure what the solution is, but I wasn’t impressed. Flaw #2: It doesn’t solar heat very well. I had it in direct sunlight (80 degree days) for 8-10 hours and the hottest I could get it was about 95 degrees. Not terrible, but definitely not a hot shower. I’ve used cheaper solar showers (the gravity hang variety) and they heat super well in the sun in a fraction of the time. I’m guessing it’s because of the vertical design of the LX—not enough surface area? Or maybe too much black/too little clear plastic? My gravity solar shower is completely clear on top, black on bottom, and has a ton of surface area. Heats up GREAT. Conclusion: It’s a good effort and seems to be decently made, but it’s definitely not perfect. Yet. I have high hopes for future versions.

Truly Amazing
I got this after trying a few 12V showers I had seen in ads. They never had enough sustained pressure for me and wanted something simple. This shower has exceeded my expectations. After pumping up the canister with the foot pump the pressure is maintained for a couple of minutes. Its perfect when you need a shower in a pinch.

Does NOT Work As Advertised
I’m very upset with this purchase. I bought this with the hopes of showering during my camping trip. The first time I used this I filled it all the way to the top. I learned quickly that was a mistake because it didn’t leave room for the air pressure to build up and create the pressurized tank required to use this continue water flow shower. I removed some water, but it still didn’t work properly. I wasn’t able to get the shower to work holding it past my knee caps. I had to continuously use the foot pump to get water to come out. Save your money and purchase a gravity solar shower instead.

First Day review
pulled it out, made sure everything was there and functional. We put it all away and it packed away easily and comfortably. With a Lifetime warranty, we are pretty happy with it all.

Follow-up to "Almost excellent except for leaking"
Excellent customer service. Received the O-ring in about a week. The shower works in a controlled environment. Looking forward to trying in at our next camping trip!

Almost excellent except for leaking lid.
I bought the pressure shower brand new. It worked great when the lid was not leaking air. During the third use, the lid was leaking air preventing good pressure. I tightened the lid as much as I could, but the lid was still leaking. We ended using a bucket and taking a sponge bath. I took the lid off and noticed that the rubber gasket was missing. If i could get the inner & outer diameter of the gasket, I would appreciate it. If you sell this gasket, even better... I would recommend this product if the leaking lid can be resolved. If not, I can't recommend this product.

As others have noted - cheap components that fail.
Seams at the pump valves on both sides split after two seasons, the hand faucet fell apart and the silicone strap that is supposed to secure the faucet open only got in the way of turning it on.

Cheap Components
I used this 2-3 times and the Nozzel is super cheap- the overall design of the Nozzel is cheap as well- plastic Chinese material at its finest. Trying to replace the Nozzel for something better... If debating about this vs a rinse kit- spend the money on a rinse kit- putting the two next to each other the Nemo doesn't even compare.

Good potential but cheap components make it suck
I've been using the shower for 2 months. The eyelet to hang the shower head tore off after about 2 days. The worst part is the shower head which is made of the cheapest plastic you can imagine. The trigger fell off multiple times until it flung off in a high grass where we couldn't find it anymore making the shower very hard to use.. It's priced as a premium product, so one would expect it to be made from at least average quality components..

Hello. I am camping right now and the pump for my helio pressure shower is filling with water. Could you tell me why you think this could be happening? Can it be fixed? Thank you

The pump on our show is filling with water. It looks like the valve inside the pump may have been broken. Do you sell replacement parts or repair kits of any kind?
