Taku Dry Top

MarineSpec is a specialized fabric designed for marine environments, featuring a durable, water-resistant, and breathable 3-layer construction. This material is essential for activities like kayaking or paddleboarding, as it keeps you dry and comfortable while allowing for movement and flexibility.

Gussets are triangular or diamond-shaped fabric inserts that provide extra room and flexibility in the seams, particularly under the arms. This design allows for a greater range of motion, which is crucial for paddling and other water activities, ensuring you can move freely without restriction.

The hook-and-loop fasteners, commonly known as Velcro, are used for the cuff closures of the Taku Dry Top. They allow for easy adjustment, ensuring a snug fit that keeps water out while providing convenience for quick on-and-off wear, making it ideal for dynamic water sports.

Neoprene is a synthetic rubber known for its flexibility, durability, and insulation properties. In the Taku Dry Top, it helps keep water out while maintaining body temperature in cooler conditions, making it an excellent choice for paddlers who need protection from the elements.

Fully sealed seams refer to a construction technique where the seams of the garment are sealed with waterproof tape or coating. This prevents water from leaking through the seams, ensuring that you stay dry during your water activities, which is crucial for comfort and performance.
