The Muc-Off High Performance Ultrasonic Tank Chain Cleaner is a professional-grade, water-based formula developed specifically for use with ultrasonic cleaning tanks, where cavitation drives the solution deep into chain links, rollers, and pins to break down wax residue, oil-based lubricants, grease, and built-up grime that surface cleaning methods simply cannot reach. What comes out is a chain with a genuinely clean metal surface, primed and ready for wax or oil-based lube application without contamination from previous products.

The formula is solvent-free and non-caustic, making it safe for regular use without the handling concerns that come with harsher chemical cleaners. It is readily biodegradable and rinses off easily with water, keeping the post-clean process straightforward and the environmental footprint minimal. Pre-heat the tank to approximately 30°C, fill to at least two thirds capacity, and let the ultrasonic cavitation do the work.
