Great Product!
I use this mostly for winter camping when we do more elaborate cooking. So far, so good! The polished bowl on the spoon and fork means that sticky foods like mozzarella don't stick. I have no use for the little metal wire that connects the two, a cloth bag of some type would be better. But that's minor. Definitely 5 stars.

Too big
A little too big for minimalist UL use. Which Ti material made products typically fit under that umbrella

Great tools for eating and very lightweight and sturdy.
I got this back in the early 2000's and I've loved it ever since. Can be used with any kind of food you can think of. Titanium is non-reactive. So it will not cause weird flavors in your food or drink. It lightweight and isn't too large as to be a problem for hiking or camping. Now I just need to get a new set as I lost the spoon. but at 20 bucks. It is well worth the price and will outlast you.

I will be buying this for my whole family
Bought this titanium fork and spoon combo, tried it on my regular dinner at home to test it out ( had 2 pieces of fish and steamed carrots with dill). Fork is perfect size, just the way I like it. The spoon, isnt to big and not to small, had to adjust the angle of the head of the spoon to the body to less of an angle but I am very impressed in both!! I will be buying my whole family a set for camping.

Best spoon I've ever owned
This set was gifted to me just before my brother and I backpacked our way from Yosemite Valley, all the way up the coast into the Alaskan Chugachs. Shortly into the trip, the screw fitting on the carry cable gummed up and stopped working all together. This was no big deal as I didn't find it terribly useful anyway. Sadly, I absentmindedly left the fork on a wooden guardrail in Squamish as we hastily packed up our gear to catch a ride with a local headed north to Whistler. The spoon, however, never failed me. Nor I it. Lightweight, fast-cooling, durable, and wonderfully sized. Honestly, with this spoon, I don't even have a need for a fork. I may sound biased and whacked-out, but i truly do love this spoon. Several years, and thousands of miles (both legged and driven) later, it is still going strong. When not in my pack, it lives in a place of high honor beside the sugar bowl in my kitchen. This spoon opened the MSR door for me. Having seen the durability and quality in it, i began to purchase more MSR gear and now own a Whisperlite universal stove, Hubba Hubba NX tent, and an Alpinist 2 person cooking system. I've been more than impressed with all of their products. Sorry to ramble on, but long story short: this is a wonderfully useful and handy spoon to have. I have gifted several these sets to friends and family and they have all seemed to love them too.
