Autoflow XL10L Gravity Filter

Hollow Fiber technology uses tiny, hollow fibers with very small pores (0.2 microns) to filter water. As water passes through these fibers, contaminants like bacteria and protozoa are trapped, ensuring that the water you drink is clean and safe. This technology is lightweight and effective, making it ideal for portable water filters.

Gravity Flow filtration relies on the natural force of gravity to move water through the filter. You simply hang a water bag at a higher point, and as the water flows down through the filter into a lower container, it gets purified. This method is beneficial for outdoor use because it doesn’t require electricity or pumps, making it easy to use in remote locations.

A Sediment Trap is a feature in some water filtration systems that collects larger particles and debris before the water reaches the main filter. By capturing these larger contaminants, the Sediment Trap helps keep the filter clean and functioning efficiently, preventing clogging and extending the life of the filter.

A Water Bottle Adapter is an accessory that allows you to connect your filtration system directly to a standard water bottle. This makes it easy to fill your bottle with clean water without needing to transfer it from one container to another, which is especially convenient when you’re on the go or in outdoor settings.

Field Cleanable means that the filtration system can be cleaned and maintained while you are out in the field, such as during camping or hiking trips. This is important because it allows you to keep your filter functioning properly without needing to return to a home base or carry extra cleaning supplies, ensuring you always have access to clean water.

Yes, many modern water filters combine both Gravity Flow and Hollow Fiber technologies to maximize efficiency. This means you can enjoy the benefits of easy, gravity-driven filtration while also ensuring that the water is thoroughly purified through the advanced Hollow Fiber technology. This combination is perfect for outdoor adventures where clean water is essential.
