Comfy, light-weight mid-layer!

My cooper colored Summit Grid has become my go-to mid-layer for colder days. The fit is roomy enough to wear over a base layer, and snug enough to wear under a parka or light-weight down. Feels nice and unrestrictive to climb in, and soooo comfortable. I don't leave home without it!

Sad to see Mountain Hardware selling trash.

Poorly assembled. Lack of quality control. Do better Mountain Hardware. Could be a great garment with a little attention to detail.

Solid midlayer. Love the fit of the hood over a hat and even under a helmet. Warm enough for climbing in 30F/0C when layered with a 250 merino long sleeve underneath. Repelled snow OK for the top out but i would not use this as a dedicated shell if snow/rain is expected. i'm 5'7" w/ a -1 and the M fit is excellent, same as a patagonia medium. ty jackson marvell for making purple cool again.

Pull the trigger now, you won’t be disappointed!!!

The only thing I was skeptical about with this purchase was the color. I was looking for a grid fleece to rival the military issued “waffle top”. I was already familiar with the Mountain Hardware brand from my military service so I knew that I was getting a quality, well made product. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase it has served me well so far. The only thing I could suggest is to offer more color choices!!! Thx. Mountain Hardware!!!🔥🔥🔥

Good, but weird fit

I usually wear a medium but I got a small for this after reading reviews. The fit is a bit odd: the small is a little short on the sleeves and torso, the medium is way too long, but the chest is the same on both and is too tight. I use it as a mid layer under my down for sleeping. It also works well as an active layer when cold. The fleece feels good, the zipper and hood are great, as is the pocket, and it's lighter and more functional than a melly.

Summit grid hoody

The best mid layer for the whole season. Wear with just a shell for warm days, or add a base layer and a shell for super cold days, wear it for apres. Perfect! Make it in navy and I’ll buy a bunch!!!

Perfect versatile addition to my core wardrobe

a fabulous lighter weight fleece. think early Fall or Late Spring when you don't need a sweater, or a coat, but a long sleeve tee just isn't quite cozy enough. I love the fabric, the kangaroo pocket, the smaller/fitted hood and the 1/4 zip. a very versatile piece that goes well with pajama bottoms, jeans, sweats, or shorts/swimsuit -- yes, this would be a perfect piece for the beach after a long day in the surf in NorCal. also for in between sport routes at the Red, or post MTN bike ride at Pisgah. not really a technical piece, but I think it would do just fine if you let it.

Perfect fit, function and looks!

Awesome Hoodie! I've had other brands in this style but this one wins for fit and the zipper is a huge plus that many others don't have. The hood is the perfect size. The only thing that would kick it up a notch is thumb holes, but for me that is minor.
