Drafty
I wanted to love this coat but it's drafty around the shoulders. Very disappointing. Looks great, though, and sleeves are the perfect length.

Disappointed
I was trying to replace a Mountain Hardwear long, down jacket purchased over a decade ago. This version did not seem nearly as warm as I was expecting. It was missing cozy features like snug cuffs around the wrists, and there was lots of extra room around the midsection for cold drafts. I returned it. 5'9", 130lb, ordered size medium.

Great length and thoughtful features
I bought this back in September in anticipation for winter in northwestern Washington and I am so glad that I did! I am 5’9 and it comes below my knees. I love the stretchdown as it gives me room to move my arms even with multiple layers on. I also like the interior chest pocket and how fluffy the hood is, as well as that the hood is adjustable! It is a very thoughtfully designed coat!

I will ALWAYS buy this coat!!!
I just received my coat, and haven’t taken it off. This thing is COZY and WARM. I took her for her first spin 3600 feet high on a windy and snowy mountain top last week. After getting to the top of the mountain, I threw my jacket on and went for a short walk through the snow as the wind was howling. With only one long sleeve t-shirt on underneath, I ended up REALLY warm and more than comfortable. The stretch in the entire jacket allows for movement in any direction which is perfect for a cold weather hiker or all around outdoorslady. All to show this brand is just absolutely incredible. The only thing is that if you’re looking for something more form fitting and flattering, this coat won’t hug your waist or curve at your hips. I will still say that I think it’s SO cute on regardless. Especially with some mittens. I am so in love that I turned around and got the light stretch down pullover for short walks around the house. I will always buy and replace this same coat for as long as it’s available. THANK YOU Mountain Hardware.
