Mirada Convertible Pant

Creek crossings, bush-whacking, and rock-strewn scrambles are all in a day's work for the Mountain Hardwear Women's Mirada Convertible Pants. A DWR finish sheds light moisture, while a UPF rating of 50 provides some protection from UV rays. When you feel like taking a swim or have to cross a creek, just zip off the lower legs for a pair of shorts, and when things start to get chilly at camp, zip 'em back on for a full pair of pants.

Odd fit

I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
5' 7"

I do have pretty wide hips/thick thighs and butt and a narrow waist so I often have the issue of pants being too tight in the hips and gaping at the waist. However, I normally wear a 6 so I got a size 8 and I can barely squeeze them on. So, if you have narrow hips and a wider waist, these will be great, but for most women I think it would be an odd fit.
