Why We Like The Mountain Hardwear Lamina Sleeping Bag

If you're looking for a synthetic sleeping bag for sub-zero temperatures, we like the Mountain Hardwear Lamina Sleeping Bag. Not as fussy as down, the synthetic Temperlite fill features bonded fibers that create heat-trapping bubbles for better thermal efficiency. The Lamina design also features bi-directional insulation to eliminate gaps and cold spots as well as body-mapping to concentrate warmth where we need it most. The bag's mummy shape limits bulk while holding in more body heat while top and bottom draft collars and a fully cinchable hood protect our head and prevent heat from escaping up top. Thermally efficient—and almost a pound lighter than its previous iteration—the Lamina -20F is a synthetic solution for our winter camping and mountaineering expeditions.

Not for me

Zipper failed the first night. At -18 I was not too impressed. Other than the zipper everything else seemed good. Size was just ok. Seemed like if zipper had worked it would have done the job but hard to tell since it was first night it failed. Not for me. Ok ok ok ok

Too early to tell.

Y’all should really wait and send these like six months later. Sure it’s a nice bag but the first nice out in my bivy the foot box got soaked. Let me fine the thing before you start asking if it worked for me.

Love this!

Finally I can sleep through the night because I'm no longer freezing cold. I love this sleeping bag. I am so impressed by all of the details, the glow in the dark zipper pull, the extra fleece collar that keeps your neck all warm and cozy. I've never seen this feature in a sleeping bag before. It keeps the warm air inside the bag.
