Superb

Supreme balance of breathability and wind resistance. Ultralight. Great for biking and other physical activities. Add something like Patagonia capilene air underneath, and you got a great layer system when active. When it gets colder, it is thin enough to just put a jacket on over it. So versatile.

My go to jacket for high output activities.

The Kor AirShell is a breathable, light weight shell that will repel wind and light precipitation. It will pack down super tiny and you can easily stuff it in a small pocket. I use this to block wind and light precipitation during mountain biking, hiking, paddling and climbing adventures. Great fit.

It’s light, pickable and just works

Bought this just before summer trip to Alaska where we’d be hitting different ports, doing multiple hikes, and the weather was always changing, especially when you’d hit these pockets of microclimates. Upon receiving it Iwasnt sure if it was worth the price, but didn’t let the lightweight feel fool you. Warner than it looks and kept my temperature regulated just fine with a long sleeve base layer. Held off light rain when I needed it. It’s not a tie rain shell, but much more than a windbreaker. Whatever it is—it just works.

What I wanted and more

I bought this for a backcountry skiing when it’s a little wet or windy. I run very hot when touring so I found shells get too swampy. This has totally changed my layering system. I’m using it above my base layer and it stays on most of the day. I’ll even put it over my micro puffy on the way down on nice days and have been leaving my shell a lot of the time. The hood fits really well under a helmet to keep you warm when needed without being floppy or needing adjusting. It wicks and breaths really well but has enough wind and water resistance to avoid needing to stop and relayer unless it gets more than moderately wet. It weighs nothing and packs down to nothing you can literally put it in your leg pocket if you wanted to. The only downside is it does get smelly pretty fast so needs more washing than most of my other outdoor gear but so far it hasn’t lost a lot of water repellency using high quality outdoor detergents. Also great for running.

Great

I have gone on a couple runs in the wind and light rain. I like how light and breathable it is yet keeps me warm and dry enough while running.

Jack of all trades

I just sweat a lot, so this is the perfect soft layer for hikes with a full sleeve as base layer. It also comes in handy for multiple little situations and packs super small.

Great Running Wind Shirt

This has been one of my favorite running wind shirts so far. It has kept me surprisingly warm on winter runs with only a mid to heavyweight base layer under (25-40F). Fit is slightly baggier than I would prefer for running, but makes it easy to layer (bought size L, I'm 6'1" ~185lbs). Can't comment on the hood yet since I haven't had to use it.
