What do you turn to when the rain drops?

You can find shelter from the storm in the Mountain Hardwear Men's Finder Jacket whether you're hiking the wilderness or exploring your hometown. Its Dry.Q Core shell provides the same waterproof, breathable protection that most of Mountain Hardwear's ski and rain shells have, and fully taped seams enhance waterproofing by preventing a single raindrop from seeping through. The adjustable hood works with the hook-and-loop cuffs to seal out the elements even further.

    • Reliable rain shell for trekking in wet weather
    • Waterproof, breathable Dry.Q Core with fully taped seams
    • Adjustments at the hood and cuffs seal out the elements

My go to jacket in the NW

    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 210lbs

I live in Oregon where it rains pretty much all the time. Not real cold, just wet. This is just my go to jacket. It does what it should.. Keeps the rain off and keeps you warm doing it. . This jacket fits true to size. I ordered an XL and I am 6.0' 210. Fits perfect. Love this jacket.

    Affordable rain jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'3"
    • Weight: 185lbs

This jacket is excellent. For the price, I don't think you can beat it. It has performed perfectly for me. The fit is great and the jacket is breathable. It's lightweight, but surprisingly good at fending off wind or cold when you're active. I don't usually find myself needing more than a baselayer unless I'm standing still and it's pretty cold outside. The jacket packs down small, has a sturdy zipper, and repels water easily. There is a lightweight, moisture-wicking inner lining which also provides a convenient and comfortable barrier between your skin and the jacket. I would highly recommend this jacket.

    Sweet deal!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 180lbs

This is a sweet jacket. You'll find that many rain jackets purchased at this price point can really begin to feel more like a clammy plastic bag than a jacket. That is certainly not the case here. This is truly a durable, waterproof, and breathable piece, with a great fit! It has the bare necesseties that you need for a qality rain jacket--two hand pockets, waterproof/brathable membrane, moisture wicking liner, 2-way adjustable hood, adjustable cuffs, and to-boot the waterproof zipper is bomber! This baby is slick! I was able to take it out on the trail during a little bit of a storm. It performed perfectlly!

    Cant beat the price point

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: xl
    • Height: 6'2"
    • Weight: 200lbs

Bought it to be my lightweight rain jacket for backpacking and casual use around town. The water repellency is outstanding for the price and can easily be stuffed. XL fits well for me 6'2" 200lb.

    Great lightweight shell!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'

Using this jacket for everyday use. Blocks wind, rain, and even handled a milkshake spill. Packs down to the size of a grapefruit. Has a great adjustable hood.

Neat jacket for windy or rainy days

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 198lbs

Perfect for those windy mountain tops, provides enough protection so you don't get cold but is not too hot so you can keep it on for most of the hike.

The hood fits perfectly and doesn't come out easily by wind hitting from the front, I find this very useful when is raining.

Is not too baggy so I might use it to wander around town as well.

Neat jacket for windy or rainy days

    Great Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 190lbs

This is a fantastic jacket for the price. I use it regularly and have always stayed dry even in some heavy rain. It's lightweight and breathable. I've only once found myself wishing it was more breathable and that was in Texas during the summer. However, to be fair nothing is breathable enough for 110° weather. That being said, pit zips would be nice, but it's not a big deal. I love this jacket, and love mountain hardware they're always a trustworthy brand. I'm 6'1, 190lbs and have a large. It fits me well and leaves enough space for a base layer or soft shell for lower temperature days.

    Awesome jacket for the price!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Well for a lite rain shell this jacket aint bad at all! looks good too! and for the price you really cant go wrong. I mean if you want to spend more money you can get a more technical rain shell but sometimes we all cant get that 300 dollar jacket we want! so go with this if your looking for a good hiking shell in *mild* weather nothing to crazy!
