Best Duffel Bag Ever
Best duffel bag on the market. I own a lot of big brand duffel bags. None of them are close to this one with quality or features. I may as well donate my Black Hole duffle bag as it won’t get used again after I got this one.

Too good
Hands down the best duffle bag I own. Seriously. It has the durable materials I need and more features than I can count. To top it off, the compression straps really transform this into a smaller bag. Even with it fully stuffed, I barely felt the weight when I tossed it on my back.

Big Red 🌮
This thing is amazing. Swallows gear like a hungry teenager. Snuck it in as a carryon and it fit the overhead bin no problem.

Exceptional quality and style in a fairly priced duffle!
This bag is solid. It is well constructed, looks good, and has excellent features, like the interior compression straps. Highly recommended. And the color is cool too.

VERSITILITY
This is a great, versatile bag. I actually got it for my camera gear. I had been toting it around in a heavy pelican case. Everything I had scrunched into that case, I now have in this bag, with plenty of room for more. I'm able to carry it around and access everything in it easily. It's much easier to pack in my vehicle with other gear, and I don't have to worry about equipment getting wet in inclement weather.

Indeed the best expedition-level duffel out there
I now have all three sizes of the Expedition Duffel and two of this and the 100 liter ones. So here are my experiences, in particular with the 75: First, capacity is generous for the stated size. This is partially because the bag opens so completely and doesn't have inefficient spaces inside, but also I simply think it understates capacity by 5-10 liters at least. You can also stuff it and have plenty of load management straps, both inside, the straps on the end to wrap the zipper, and this bag now comes with a hook strap at the midpoint of the bag. Next, the bag is much easier to move around when loaded but not zipped up. You always want to move it from a bed to a table or open it up in your car and then bring it inside, and you don't want to have to do the complete bag assembly before doing so. You have two loops on the inside to pick up the bag without spilling things out. Without zipping it, you can simply hook the end straps to regain shape and keep the bag from tipping contents out. and you have internal load management straps that have worked well. Next, the shoulder straps are perfectly sized for the bag, if anything better than the biggest version of this bag. Note that you do have to use them to pick up the bag in your hand, unless you want to use one of the side hand grips (which I admit I do more than I should). This bag simply doesn't hand-carry all that well -- using the straps, the straps are clumsy to hold and the bag is quite wide, so your hand is well out from your side and the bag is banging your knee. This bag isn't designed to be carried that way, but if you are really packing for an expedition you likely have another bigger bag on your back already so hand-carrying is your only option. The bag could use a couple reinforced D-rings installed diagonally, so you can attach a shoulder strap to sling it like a messenger bag -- not the most comfortable but gives you a way to carry an extra bag when it's needed. The inside is light and readily visible, the pockets are excellent and strongly reinforced (many duffel interior pockets are poorly made). Overall the duffel is very heavily made -- I have no worries about damaging it, and have dragged it across quite a bit of concrete already -- and the 75 is yet soft enough that I can squash it into the dimensions of domestic airline carry-on. That's important so you don't get told to check your bag. Overall I love this bag and it gets more use than any other bag I own. It's by far the most versatile and the whole Expedition Duffel line takes more abuse than Patagonia, North Face, Osprey, and the other leading duffels. Mine still looks like new after perhaps 20 extended trips, strapping to car tops, dog sleds, camels, horses, mules, and my own back.

It’s a good bag!
High quality materials, perfect assembly. I would like to see a waist strap added to back up the chest strap for when you pack heavy, so 4.5 out of 5.

The ultimate duffel
This is an amazing duffel bag. I've used it for two trips now and it has exceeded my expectations. The design of the opening is ideal for easy loading and makes finding iteams a breeze when you get to your destination. I really like the fact that the bag can hold it's shape when opened, even if it is empty. I highly recommend this duffel, it has become my go to bag for travel. I'm considering getting the smaller size for short trips.
