I don’t usually do reviews, but I bought this as a replacement for a travel bag for work. This thing fits perfect as a carry-on, compresses and maximizes all the potential space way better than any hard case Ive ever used. The quality is exactly what you except from Mountain Hardware, trust me “you will not be disappointed”! Now, I just wish I had bought 2x when they were on sale.

Excellent Convertible Duffle

Looking forward to using this for my vacation. Build quality is really good, color is vibrant and bright, space is more than enough for two weeks of gear. My only concern is if the airlines make me check in the bag instead of considering it as a carry-on.

Love it, Like how the bag stays wide open when you are packing it. The two internal grab handles make it easy to quick move while it is in the open position. (You have to see to understand but it works) Lots of tie down points.

Love this duffel, perfect size.

Love this duffel. The straps are a bit overwhelming at first but once you cinch everything down. It's a great bag for travel and outdoor adventures.

Great checked bag for travel.

Great bag all the way around. Durable and well designed. No straps to get caught and compartment locks all contents to prevent theft during transit. Used on 2-week trip through Botswana and South Africa. Super happy. No negatives to speak of. Opening is wide enough to get into but won’t be as convenient as a U-shaped duffel opening for casual travel. Still pretty perfect design.

Great piece. I was on the fence about getting a larger one, maybe I should have. I already have two very large 150L duffles but this one is the best made one I have. I use it for climbing gear hauler and for trips with my gf. We pack both of our things for a long weekend and travel! Feature-rich and will last a lifetime I am sure.

I really love this backpack it has some incredible features that makes it really useful for traveling. The single large zipper its great as it feels very secure and safe while moving from place to place, also you can roll the sides for making a big bucket type opening greatly improving the organization. The size its incredible as it can fit as a carry on and the weight is really light. The only downside i can find its that is really uncomfortable on the long run, i haven’t found a way to carry it for more than an hour without having to put it down for a bit, even so i will keep using this as my carry on pack for easy travel Price: 8/10 Comfort: 4/10 Features: 9/10 Weight: 9/10 Ease of travel: 10/10

The perfect overnight bag

The perfect overnight bag. Just big enough to hold what you need and not a lot of extra pockets/fluff to have to "remember" where you put things.

The perfect rugged carry-on

This duffle is rugged and capable, and has some great features that make it my go-to carry-on bag. The packing system is great, letting you fold the upper edge of the bag in on itself to stay open while you pack, and there are two internal compression straps, two inner pockets, and two outer pockets. Once you have everything packed inside, daisy chains let you cinch down the two ends of the bag and cinch down the middle as well. This lets you bring the whole duffle down to a size that fits perfectly in an overhead bin.
