Legend has it the Modern Surfboards Love Child PU Hybrid Surfboard washed ashore after a longboard and a shortboard collided on a massive wave. The result is a versatile cruiser that combines the stability of a longboard with the maneuverability of a shortboard, helping you to catch more waves without sacrificing performance. A longboard outline up front creates a huge stable zone under the front foot and chest to help you catch waves early and ride towards the nose, while the tapered pin tail maintains maneuverability and enhances control in bigger, steeper surf. The low rocker helps the board glide effortlessly into waves and maintains down-the-line speed and acceleration once you're up.

Fun ride, but EXTREMELY FRAGILE
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Just bought it and had two sessions with it. Already got some pressure dings and got a massive ding on the nose from a pretty innocent bump. Repairing it now and the coating is super thin. If you need something durable that can last years, look elsewhere.

Great board for quick learning beginners
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 7ft
- Weight:
- 162
The board arrived on Tuesday and it was in the water Wednesday morning. I have been surfing for two weeks (nearly every day) and have been trying out different boards before pulling the trigger on a board of my own. I like that this model has enough volume to give you some support while still feeling active beneath you as it responds to input immediately. I have this set up as a thruster, but also have ridden it as a 2+1. I will say that this is not a board for a true beginner who would feel more comfortable on a board with more volume and width such as an 8ft'er or a soft top. Overall I would say this is a great board if you're confident and apply yourself, but not great if you are still trying to figure out how to get up on a wave. Aesthetics: The board is beautiful and the finish is pristine. The colors displayed online are pretty damn accurate, but there is variation of pattern due to the fact that each board is unique. Takeaway Pros: - Great Value, especially considering the finishing work. - Performs well under various conditions. - It's a board that you won't progress out of. - Endless fin setups from single fin, thruster, 2+1, twin, and quad Take away Cons: - Not Eco-Board Project verified. - From a large company as opposed to a local shaper.
