The boots adapt Merrell's popular Moab design with a waterproof suede and nylon upper and cozy Primaloft Gold Eco synthetic insulation keeping our feet warm in bone-chilling temperatures. The insole utilizes innovative SOLARCORE technology to provide warmth beneath our feet, so we can trudge through drifting banks of snow without feeling the icy effects. Pretty good boot for snow and snowshoeing
Pretty good boot overall. Appears well made, though as with all footwear these days, I threw out the insole and replaced with my own aftermarket variety. My complaints about the boot and why gave it 4/5 stars is that slightly narrow in the forefoot, and the laces are pretty wimpy for a rugged snow boot. I hope they hold up! Would be nice if they were beefier so that it would be easier to tie with gloved fingers.

Cute and cozy boots
I have been searching for a good pair of boots for walking in -15 to -35C when it can be icy. These boots are lightweight, warm and comfortable. They fit true to size with room for thicker socks and they offer ankle support. I love the adobe rose color. đź’•

Warm, lightweight, and no break in!

I've had these boots for a month, and while I was a little nervous about the 200g rating instead of the 400g rating of the boots they replaced, they've been warm down to single digits with a good pair of socks. They seem to run a tiny bit big compared to my summer boots, but that space can be offset with an extra pair of socks. I chose to select true-to-size because I think having a little extra room in the toe box in winter is better than not. The boots are very comfortable, have excellent traction with the Vibram sole and aggressive tread pattern, and show little wear. I haven't been a Merrell boot enthusiast, but these have changed my mind!

Comfortable, lightweight, functional
Very light, comfortable and excellent on snow and icy terrain. The warmth level is appropriate for cold weather. The only dow side is i wish it was a higher boot to prevent snow and debris from coming in the shoe.

Great winter boot for snowy treks
I've been trying to find good 'intermediate' boots for snowshoeing for over a year. I bought several pairs and returned them all. These are exactly what I was looking for. They are waterproof, warm, and have stiff enough uppers for cinching down snowshoe bindings. They also have great tread and decent edging ability on hard, steep snow when not using snowshoes. They're much lighter and less expensive than technical mountaineering boots, which were the only other good option I could find.

New Merrill's replace my 35 year old pair!
I have a pair of Merrells from the late eighties...These are just as good but extremely lighter. I always buy Merrell
