Why We Like The Merrell Moab Speed 2 LTR Mid WP Hiking Boot
The Merrell Moab Speed 2 LTR Mid WP Hiking Boot is designed to conquer any terrain, keeping our feet dry and supported as we trek along wet, rocky trails. The breathable waterproof membrane allows us to hike through puddles without soaking our socks while still allowing cool air to circulate on hot summer days. The Cleansport NXT anti-odor treatment keeps our feet smelling fresh while they're protected by durable leather and synthetic uppers. The FloatPro Foam midsoles offer a plush platform, and the FlexPlate technology provides torsional rigidity, lateral stability, and forefoot flexibility so we can handle anything the trails throw our way. The Vibram TC5+ outsoles and Vibram traction lugs are designed to increase our traction and shed debris, allowing us to overcome any obstacles we encounter as we hike.

Not the Merrell of Tried and True
Not a fan of the new foot bed and sole. Very loose fit in the heal. These do not come close to the feel of what I have become accustomed too over the many years and purchased shoes. Maybe I am spoiled by pulling them out of the box and wearing them on the trail. Good thing I found my old faithful type on clearance. No idea what my future purchases will be because this new arrival in not the Merrell I know and love. These are to be hiking footwear not tennis shoes.
