I probably wouldn't recommend anyone spend money on this. Calling it a blanket is greatly exaggerated. I gave it as a gift and it was embarrassing. It's a thin piece of nylon tarp, thinner than an emergency rain poncho, thinner than the tarp you might buy at a hardware store. Approximate thickness of an outdoor garbage bag. It comes with 4 corner stakes but, no, I would not buy this again and certainly don't recommend you gift it, although we're all still laughing about that in my family! It's not functional for warmth, potentially functional for rain/wet.
