This is a very lightweigh piece; Not a winter coat
I ordered this looking for a lightweight, packable winter jacket. Was excited to try it and SO looking forward to receiving it. I am writing this review for two reasons: 1) Set Expectations 2) Sizing The sleeves are not insulated. So this is something you may take out for a run, but you would not wear to walk around NYC. It is more like a down vest with a sleeve for wind and rain. The hood is not insulated either, though this matters less. As for sizing: I am 5'8" and 145 lbs. D cup. So based upon the size charts and models, I purchased a medium. While this was stretchy enough to zip, it wasn't sitting in the correct position. The waist line / back curvature was inching up too high. When I let it hit naturally and unzipped, there was about a 1" gap, so clearly I would have needed to size up to a L (Large) if I were to have kept the jacket.

Versatile Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the warmth, yet when you go inside you don't overheat. My picture shows where the lining is not down, rather a 'rubbery' mesh (not slick) and I read that's good for climate control next to your body. I had first ordered the Warm Cube Active Novus, synthetic lining everywhere except the hood--but the upper chest was a tight and squished the cubes. The down version with two chest pockets looked fine. No big athletic endeavors these days for me, but this has been a great jacket for snowshoeing, walks and errands. With fleece under it's been comfortable in the 20-30's if winds are below 20 mph, otherwise the arms get chilly. It sheds light rain.

Prefer the synthetic lining
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned this, as it did not seem as warm as the synthetic lining version, which I had before, and it also seemed a bit smaller. The lining on the arms seemed almost non-existent.

Excellent Everyday Performance Piece
I love this jacket for anything active! It seriously keeps the insulation warm when you need it at rest. In addition, it circulates a bit of air when you need it most during activities. It's great for anything you like to do in the outdoors! I should also say, it's my go-to for school drop off as well :)

Runs large?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to return this size xs jacket because it was too big for me (4'11", 100lbs), so I can't speak to the warmth. Seems like it would have packed down easily, and I loved the orange color.

love this jacket
Warmer than you would think for how lightweight it is. My new go-to jacket for winter in California!

Versatile!
This is a great jacket, versatile, lightweight, and warm. It is the perfect item to grab when out on a hike, or when running to the market, or really for any use. I have received so many compliments on it, and I am always so excited to share the many features it has and just how awesome it is!

Great Layer For Touring
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has become my favorite insulation piece to wear backcountry skiing. On clear days I use it as an outer layer for the climb and layer a shell over it on the ski down. I'm really impressed that I don't over heat while climbing and it saves me from the "be bold start cold" experience.
