Why We Like The Marmot Vapor Tent
Packing the Marmot Vapor Tent in our car or pack is a no-brainer on quick trips with family and friends. The tent is incredibly easy to set up and the vertical walls provide ample living space for multiple adventurers, furry friends optional. Two vestibules easily store our gear, and two doors allow us to move in and out of the tent without disrupting our campmates. The breathable materials and roof vent keep air circulating to minimize the build-up of condensation, and the durable materials keep us dry and protected when the weather takes a turn for the worse.

Vapor 2p is great, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The straps (?) meant for keeping the doors on the outer tent open leads water from the outside dripping onto the tent inside (like wicks). No big leaks, but in heavy rain it does cause the inner tent to become wet inside. I very much would like a recommendation on how to remidiate this without causing any damage to the tent or the warranty. I've used the tent two times, and i love it! A way to fix the leak would make it perfect!

Footprint advice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice upgrade over my 25 year old Marmot 2.5 person tent. Lighter but roomier for family backpacking. Fortrrss UL 3P footprint seems to fit!!!

I used Marmot vapor 2p 5 times in total. The outer awning gets water after 6 uses. Turkey distributor says the warranty period has expired. Your tents whose warranty period has expired lose their properties over time, not during use.

I have the Fortress 2p and it is perfect for spring and fall river trips. The Vapor looks pretty similar. Is this also a 3 1/2 season tent?

Hi Will the Fortress 3P UL foot print work on this tent? It seems the measurements are nearly the same. 90x66 (fortress) vs 92x66 (Vapor) Thankt

Does the new Vapor 2p tent need a footprint? I see that it does not come with one and I did not see any specifically for the vapors in footprint accessories.
