Why We Like The Marmot Vapor Tent: 2-Person 3-Season

Cool-weather backpacking trips call for a versatile tent that can keep us covered in changing conditions. The Marmot Vapor Tent is a 2-person, 3-season tent that boasts a big sleeping area and has a relatively lightweight design. A 2-pole construction ensures an easy setup and light overall weight. The mesh doors can be zipped up for extra warmth, and the waterproof rainfly creates two vestibules at the opening of each door so we can store our gear out of the weather.

Vapor 2p is great, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The straps (?) meant for keeping the doors on the outer tent open leads water from the outside dripping onto the tent inside (like wicks). No big leaks, but in heavy rain it does cause the inner tent to become wet inside. I very much would like a recommendation on how to remidiate this without causing any damage to the tent or the warranty. I've used the tent two times, and i love it! A way to fix the leak would make it perfect!
