Great sleeping bag!
Kept me warm on a colder summer evening in the high Ouintas! Super comfy and really allowed me to get some good rest camping! #BackcountryGearhead

Light and compact
The Ultra Elite 30 degree bag is perfect for what I wanted in a bag. It's lightweight and easily compact-able and fits easily in the sleeping bag space of my osprey Atmos 65L pack with me being able to shove a few more jackets in the compartment as well as my sleeping bag. I haven't tested the bag in cold conditions or pushed it to the limit but the material is comfortable. If you are looking for a lightweight compact-able bag this is a good option. I also use this bag when sleeping on friends couches and it never is to hot or stuffy.

Great bag minus the temp rating
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ultra Elite 30 bag has been a decent sidekick for ultra lite packing in damp climates. It has held its top loft very well In damp climates even when the bottom of the bag has soaked through with external water. The insulation dries quite efficiently. I have used this bag multiple times with a non inflatable sleeping mat as my back requires a hard surface. I was unfortunately disappointed in the ability to keep my back warm in even warmer/dry conditions (the compression of the insulation kills the efficiency. Had I use an inflatable insulated mat I can imagine things could be quite different. Until near 14 degrees Celsius, the cold air on my back was noticeably contradicting the heat pocket at the top of the bag, this caused for a lot of tossing and turning to allow the cold parts of my body to re-warm. In the 0-5 C. range this became so dramatic that it felt like sleeping on a ice block because the contradiction in top to bottom temperature was so dramatic. When I would turn on my side I could immediately feel the warmth on my back and the cooling on my side. This was severely uncomfortable until the morning warmed near 10 C. I am typically a medium warmth/back sleeper who enjoys cold weather sleeping. The medium bag worked well for my 5’11”, 155 lb. slim figured body. the fit is tight and tossing and turning does not happen with-in the bag, the whole bag moves with me due to its especially tight knee space. Beyond another 10 lbs of body weight, and 1” of height, or if you struggle with confined spaces I would suggest trying the fit of the bag before purchase. The Rounded hood cord with a flat neck cord works great for closing out the cold air once you understand how to work the cords. I would suggest figuring it out when you still have some light to play with as I found it confusing in the sleepy hours. The bag compresses quite well with decent loft return for a synthetic bag and comes with a good quality compressible bag and non compress mesh bag included (thank you Team)

Lightweight, warm bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well constructed, comfortable, lightweight synthetic mummy bag. I really like my older Marmot Helium 15 degree bag, and I wanted something similar for summer backpacking that compressed enough to fit into a 56L pack, and the Ultra Elite 30 accomplishes this well. I ordered a Regular and a Long in order to compare the length and girth. I’m 6’1”, 155lbs, and the fit of the Long is perfect. And, the insulation in this bag feels great! I feel like most of you that are considering this bag already know it’s the right one, but take my word for it and go ahead and order it!

Long not necessary for those 6’ 1”
I am 6’ 1/2” and thought I needed the long but a regular is plenty. Definitely a narrow bag but no problem for me at a 155lbs and 6’ 1/2”. Slept very comfy two nights at 48 degreesF in a tshirt and shorts and I’m neither a cold nor a hot sleeper.

Ultra Elite 30°
Good bag! Super light and comfy. Kept me warm with temps in the mid 40s. It's a tight fit though, and I'm a slim guy. Be prepared to not have much room in the bag at all.

Great sleeping bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for about 6 months now and spent about a month's worth of nights in the bag now and love it. It is insanely packable and light, yet warm. The long bag is about perfect for me at 6'.
