    Order a full size larger

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 180lbs

I'm a solid medium: 32/33" waist and had to return the medium. These pants should fit slim in order to fit under shell pants, but I can't think of a single reason why they should fit "skin tight". The front and back panels do not flex or stretch and as such, what is left over in the pant is stretchy ... except for one critical feature, the seam that runs under your crotch. That seam is rigid and basically feels like someone is trying to strangle your scrotum with a garrote. The medium fit so tight I looked like I had a camel toe—An especially unflattering look for a guy.

I ordered a pair in large from another retailer that had them in stock and the large fits almost perfect—It's looser, but not baggy and the issues with the crotch seam disappeared. The larger size also solves the problem of exposure while bending over that another reviewer mentioned.

We'll see how well they perform on the mountain. For the price, I'm willing to accept imperfect.

    Avoid moving you legs

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 175lbs

Because the product has primaloft in the front and back, it doesn't move when you bend over. Material didn't move when I walked. The back of the tights came down when I bent over. The size was accurate for my build, all my other Marnot clothing is Medium as well. This product needs some more design work before going mainstream.

    Great cold weather baselayer

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 190lbs

I’ve been looking for a good frigid weather baselayer for a while, decided to try these and am very happy with purchase. Paired these with Patagonia Powder Bowl pants (not insulated) while resort skiing in Utah and was very comfortable. Temperatures were about zero in the AM and only got up to 10-15 degrees F in the afternoons, even with the vents open on my pants I was warm. Not sure I’d go trekking in these but for those really cold days on the lifts they should work well.
