Why We Like The Marmot Shadow Jacket

When bitter cold engulfs the mountains, we zip into the Marmot Shadow Jacket to stay warm and dry on frigid lift rides and high-altitude adventures along blustering ridge lines. Marmot's NanoPro membrane provides breathable, waterproof protection from wet snow and gusting winds, and the 700-fill down insulation keeps us warm through the coldest days of the season. Two zippered underarm vents offer convenient ventilation when the sun pokes its head out from behind the clouds, and the powder skirt keeps snow from sneaking into our pants while we ride through deep stashes.

READ THIS FIRST

Never have I seen a product page that was so bad I almost didnt buy the product because of it, but this one almost got me. Despite all the confusing info here, trust me this *is* the jacket you want. I ski at 12k feet in the rockies, and this jacket with a wool baselayer is about all you need until temps drop below freezing. According to the product and tags I received after ordering in winter 2023/24 -it IS recco -it IS full waterproof This jacket is total wind blocking, very warmly insulated, super comfy to wear, if you get it a little big you can layer like crazy under it with no problem, theres every pocket you could want for a long day on the slopes, theres a powder skirt with 2 snap positions to accomodate body and clothing variability, removable hood that can fit whatever helmet underneath and cinches nicely for long chair rides, vents under the arms that do a wonderful job of thermoregulating Definite buy in my opinion, Im considering getting a second one as backup

Warmest Jacket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Warmth as described on the website. Jacket is on the heavier side. Dries quickly after exposed to snow or rain. Good for cold days.

Nice jacket

Nicely made warm down jacket.. fabric seems durable.. unconventional drawstrings that could be better..zipoff hood on older jacket is more practical

Best ski jackets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have always been a big fan of Marmot products. Have purchased several jackets for the kids, always out grow them before they wear them out. Now they ask for them over other brands.
