Perfect! Fits great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure how this would fit me as a plus size petite person. The 1x worked perfectly for me (I am 5’2” and 200 lbs). I got it for a trip to PNW National Parks and have worn it for walks and hikes locally and it’s perfectly light and waterproof. Very breathable! Inn be love that it has a two piece zipper so you can unzip the bottom a bit for more room for walking. Perfect rain jacket for me!

Precip is tops in versatility and protection
Purchased a replacement for lost original and bought one for daughter and wife. It is light, waterproof and wind protective. Performs well even in low temp, despite its lack of insulation. Blocks wind and seals in body heat when vents are closed.

Great lightweight jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic lightweight rain jacket! I am involved in scouting and it’s important to have great gear that can pack up in a backpack. Everyone in my family had one of these. The fact that it can zip up into the pocket is awesome!

Nice jacket for wind but not for staying dry
Wore this jacket in a downpour and got soaked. I like so many other things about this jacket but absolutely would not recommend it for rainwear.

go to rain coat...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worth every penny! Extremely durable, easy to pack, great wind break, amazing breathability, and 100% waterproof. Exactly what I needed. Marmot knocks it out of the park yet again!

Size chart inaccurate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size chart isn’t accurate. Size up at least one full size based on your measurements. That being said, I like the jacket. Given the longevity issues noted by other reviewers, I would not have paid full price. I am typically a size 16 and got the 2X even though a xxl should have fit.

This will be a great layer!
Nice shell jacket, runs small (for me anyway) so I had to return and reorder. Customer service was very quick so it was not an issue.

Great jacket RUNS SMALL
I bought this jacket a couple of weeks ago but was so disappointed when it arrived. It’s a great looking jacket but it runs REALLY small. I normally wear a 2X but a 3X was too small.

Rainforest -stayed dry !
I bought this for a trip to the Olympic peninsula. I sure it during a torrential rain during a hike through the Hoh rainforest. Which I think may be the wettest place in the US lol. I stayed dry! The whole time. My only suggestion is to wear like a baseball cap because I think with the hood pulled all the way up I couldn’t see well enough to look up and around and everything I wanted to see. But overall did the job it fit well and I was dry!

Is the zipper a 2way zipper? I would like to be able to unzip the bottom of the jacket to be more spacious around my hips

How breathable is this jacket? I am looking for a rain jacket that does not make me feel like I am in a sauna.
