Great rain gear!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great jacket. Just what I needed for rainy day. Stashes easily in my backpack. I even use it when i am riding my motorcycle and it begins to rain. Excellent jacket, light weight, easy to carry and does a great job keeping you dry.

Great quality, great fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly the jacket I needed: a waterproof shell that has good thickness to it. I'm a 5'11" woman and the men's jacket fits my frame perfectly! I have broader shoulders than an average woman and find that, as a result, arm length, in regular women's sizes, suffers. Nicely made, quality material. I use this when I'm riding in the rain, which is about 9 months out of the year! Feels like it'll last a long time, which I really appreciate.

Good jacket for good price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good Jacket for a good price. Bought it for the waterproof layer and breathable fabric. Plan to test it out before our Alaska cruise. Pockets should be lower than chest high. Fabric is a little crunchy feeling, but that's OK if it's completely waterproof.

Perfect layering jacket
My Minimalist Pro Jacket was christened on a trip to the Canadian Rockies/British Columbia and it did not disappoint. Knowing the late September weather would be all over the place, I used this jacket over a vest some days and over a fleece jacket on colder days…and by itself when I could. The waterproof and windproof properties kept me perfectly dry and warm with layering. The hood system was great too and kept the winds and rain out nicely. Combine all that with the light weight, this is my new go to travel jacket.

I owned one of these before and loved it. Unfortunately I needed to go up a size, and while the sleeves are a little long, it fits great. The jacket is lightweight, but keeps me dry while still being very breathable.

Great jacket for the mountains
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great jacket for whatever mountain weather is thrown at you. Just finish multi-day White Mountain backpacking trip with rain, drizzle and sub-freezing windchills - couldn't ask for a better rain jacket to cover all these changes in weather

Question, I just ordered and received a Marmot Minimalist Pro jacket in February 2023. Manufactured date on the coat tag was October 2021. Does this material wear out or age while stored that long in the Marmot warehouse? Thank you.

Is the pocket layout the same on the Minimalist and the Minimalist Pro jackets? Other than thinner waterproofing materials being utilized, are there any other differences in the Minimalist and Minimalist Pro jackets? Thanks in advance 😊
