Why We Like The Marmot Minimalist Jacket Plus
Now available in plus sizes, the Marmot Minimalist Jacket Plus lets more of us enjoy the performance and value of this premium, packable rain jacket. The Minimalist features GORE-TEX Paclite, which provides a lighter and more breathable layer of waterproof protection along with complete seam-sealing and a durable water repellent finish to keep us as dry as possible. This jacket weights less than a pound, packs down small when we're not using it, and also includes under arm zippers that we can open to limit sweat and moisture inside the jacket when we're hiking or exercising hard. Some people find these plus sizes run small, so consider sizing up if you're worried about fit or want a more relaxed fit.

Worth the price!
This jacket fits well (not easy to find in an active, plus size raincoat) and stands up to the most disagreeably wet weather!

Honest review: it’s my favorite rain jacket.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Springtime in NYC is here and I put my minimalist jacket to the test on a windy, soggy, 55 degrees day. My hair was up in a bun, and the hood was the perfect fit. It did not slip off, and it did not feel too small. I am a curvy woman and I love the slightly cinched waist because the jacket feels feminine and not boxy. I also love the coverage that it provides in the back. The rain was heavy, it was windy but I walked through it feeling dry and protected. Made with goretex so the rain beads right off of it. Ladies don’t hesitate buy this jacket!

Nice rain jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice style and well made. Long enough for good coverage while not being too long to get in the way when hiking or sitting.

Great Jacket - My Story
This may be a long review, not relevant to many. Feel free to skip it. I am 5"2, 140 pounds, 36g. I have a relatively small frame and a large chest. I tried this jacket in a standard large and could barely zip it over my chest. I decided the standard XXL would be best for me. However, I found a 1X at an unbeatable sale price so I thought I would try it. How did it fit? Over my shoulders and chest, the arm length is PERFECT. In the stomach area it is roomy but looks fine. Around my hips it's a problem because it's so large. Luckily, the bottom is adjustable. It's a bit bunched up and the cord hangs down about 8 -10 inches. If I was going to model this on a runaway I would be sending it back. I am using to for a hike in Nepal and I think it will definitely work. Hope this helps others decide if this product will work for them or not.
