Marmot Micron 40 Sleeping Bag
Super light. Surprisingly warm. Quite snug, but that probably helps with the warmth. I still can't believe how light it is. Used it on 5 day crossing of Olympic Mountains.

Versatile Comfort for Summer Adventures
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the standout features of this sleeping bag is its ability to keep you warm in cooler temperatures while still being suitable for hot summer conditions. The water-resistant 650-fill-power goose down insulation ensures that you stay cozy and comfortable during cooler nights. However, when the temperature rises and it becomes too warm inside the bag, the full-length wrap-around zipper allows you to easily unzip it and convert it into a flat blanket. This feature provides excellent ventilation and allows you to use it just like a regular blanket, keeping you cool and comfortable in extremely hot conditions. It's a game-changer for those unpredictable summer nights. The lightweight and durable construction of the Micron 40° Sleeping Bag further adds to its appeal. It's designed to be easy to pack, making it a breeze to bring along on any adventure. Additionally, the ability to fold it up into a compact size with the included stuff sack sets it apart from heavier winter sleeping bags. This increased packability allows for more freedom and flexibility when it comes to packing your gear. Another convenient feature is the internal stash pocket. It provides a handy storage space for small personal items, such as a phone, headlamp, or other essentials, ensuring they're easily accessible during the night. In summary, the Micron 40° Sleeping Bag is a versatile and reliable choice for summertime adventures. Its ability to keep you warm in cooler temperatures, while also offering the flexibility to unzip and use it as a flat blanket in hot conditions, is a standout feature. The lightweight design and compact packability make it a convenient choice for any backpacker or camper. I highly recommend this sleeping bag for those seeking comfort, versatility, and ease of use during their summer escapades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The zipper in my sleeping bag was sewn on incorrectly. And she didn't fit. And my husband pulled me out of the sleeping bag. return

Functional bag, but it’s more like 50F.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Very functional bag for the price. Very compact as well. But! There is a specification that says that for men it is 38.3F comfort range for women it's 46.4F. I like when it’s colder when I sleep, so I took it. But I woke up freezing cold when it was 46F. I started put mid layer clothes on. But when by the morning it was 43F I had to put on my down jacket as well. So, I’d say it’s 50F bag, not 40F! It will be comfortable at 55F. I had 52F next night and I was a little hot in my mid layer, so I removed my warm socks and it was fine.

Excellent warm weather bag
This bag checks all the boxes at a great price. Comfy, lightweight, packs tiny. The zipper runs all the way around the foot box, so you can vent the bottom if your feet are hot.
