    City style weather protection.

The Marmot Women's Lea Jacket comes in a streamlined, city-worthy style so you don't have to sacrifice style for waterproof protection when the rainstorms roll in. Marmot's Membrain gives this jacket the same waterproof breathable protection as Marmot's ski jackets. When the rains stop, stow the adjustable hood away and stay stylish under sunny skies.

I live in Florida, where it's incredibly muggy whether raining or not. This jacket can be a little sticky on the worst days, but it's definitely waterproof. Therefore, I don't tend to wear it all day when there are scattered showers... only for downpours. The only change I would make is the zipper: I wish it were two-way. The hips run a little slim, probably under the assumption that Marmot ladies are going to be more of that "athletic" shape- but I'm petite with wide hips. Going up a size to a S would've swallowed my shoulders and bustline. The seaming is flattering and the Army color is classic without making me look like the Gorton's fisherman or a trash bag. ;-)
