Good lightweight ski touring/climbing pants
A little tight through the thighs, but the “euro-fit” is expected from Mammut, and gives the length tall skinny-ish guys like me always miss!

Not waterproof.
Despite these being advertised as fully waterproof, the seams are not sealed so water gets through in a heavy rain.

Do-it-all winter pants
These pants have kept me warm, dry, and sheltered from wind through recent backcountry skiing, snowshoeing, and mountain climbing trips over the last few weeks. Wether in 40 mph winds in the winter alpine to hot days on the skin track, they breathe well when needed and insulate when not. I look forward to taking these out in the upcoming Ice Season!

Love these for touring
I have used these a bunch for BC touring. The 2 big pros for me are the gussets that are actually big enough to fit over ski boots and they come in a long length. Great product, great features.

Perfect pants for Aconcagua
Was perfect choice for my expedition, warm enough but not insulated, or if felt a bit warm, the side zippers helped to cool my legs down a little bit. The packet on the leg is in a perfect position to slide the phone on after taking a picture. Amazing quality, and love to color too

Perfect Backcountry Ski Pants
These pants are thick enough to be durable, but light enough to be perfect for backcountry skiing. There are mesh vents on the sides that help keep you cool on the uphill and reinforced boot cuffs for climbing in crampons.

An awesome pants for winter. The pockets are great and easy to access with harness. Inside rubber coating at the lower leg rim is amazing. Together with the little hook does not let the snow get o inside your boots. No gaiters needed. Another great feature is the adjustable waist with Velcro.. this keeps out at place. I use them for hiking and ice climbing.

I bought these for fat biking in NW Montana. They are awesome! The fit is somewhere between a slim and reg fit. Not baggy, Not tight. Stretchy fleece backed fabric with all that I need for riding my bicycle. Built in mini gators with hooks stay over my footwear and keep the snow out. I've found that mountaineering, ski-mo, type clothing works great for riding your bike in the winter and these definitely don't disappoint. I'm also going to wear these for XC skiing. Great pants, fit is spot on. I wear a 30 in my Volcom jeans and I bought these in a 30. I still have room to tuck in my base layers with the adjustable waist. Get them!
