Lightweight - Maybe too lightweight

The down jacket is very lightweight such that the shell is very fragile and subject to tearing if contact is made. I don’t want to be on trail and have to dodge every twig, branch, thorn, or rock face just to keep my jacket from being disemboweled. For sitting around the stadium, this would be a great jacket on cold days.

I live in the Canadian Rockies where winters can be harsh. This puffy is warm, light, and very comfortable! I would definitively recommend.

Very light, very warm

I got this jacket mostly for ski touring and winter camping. It's very warm, almost not worth wearing in anything over 25F or so. I'm 6'2 170 lb and got a medium which fits well, a large would have been easier to throw over more layers though. The sleeves are nice and long which I appreciate as someone with longish arms. The sleeves are a little tight when putting the jacket on but fine once it's on. Also the 900 fill is crazy and I love how small this jacket packs down. I wish it had external chest pockets but that would make it heavier I guess.

Warm and comfy

This jacket has lasted me for multiple years of wearing it in harsh conditions while climbing and skiing. It is light weight and you can tell the material is thin, but it hasn't had any issues snagging or ripping. If you are not in cold weather though this jacket is probably going to be a little too warm for you. I can only wear it on really cold days so keep that in mind. All in all I recommend this jacket to all of my friends.

Great coat for warmth

I have had this coat for probably a month now and it's perfect for cold interior alaska temperatures. In the month I have had it, however, I have already gotten 4 tears in it. It seems as though the trade off for it being a super lightweight warm jacket is that the fabric tears super easily which I think is important to keep in mind. Overall I am happy with the jacket I am wary however to use it as an everyday jacket because i am afraid of getting more holes in it

Lightweight warmth

Love the fit, I'm 5'9", 155lbs, medium fits like a glove. Very warm, super packable and fit's well under a shell when needed, well designed.

Nice jacket

This coat is ultra-lightweight, stylish and warm enough for shoulder season use (Spring and Fall). It’s got a snug hood, deep zippered side pockets and fits just right with good length in the arms and torso. The outer fabric is very fragile but if you don’t bushwhack, it’ll last fine. Mammut makes high quality coats and the Meron is one. 6’3”, 185, Large

Awesome Light Weight Jacket

This jacket is warm and lightweight. The shell fabric is a bit fragile but that's the trade-off for weight. Cannot recommend enough. I've taken this thing on all sorts of ski trips, climbing trips, and camping trips. I've been in temperatures as low as -27c and it holds its own. Please note if you're unsure about your size, measure your chest and look at the sizing guide. I am 5'11" 175 lbs and I wear a large.
