Comfortable and versatile mid layer
Very nice mkd layer to add warmth without hindering movement. Breathability could be improved slightly compared to other mid layers, but this is compensated by the (slight) windstop ability for those awkward days with quickly variable weather. Overall great quality product with thought and engineering behind it. The jacket has been used over the last few months, from. An emergency warmth layer (summer), to a do-it-all midlayer (winter).

Cozy sweater jacket with a slim fit
This jackets feels like a cozy zip up sweater to me and is great in the shoulder season or as a mid layer option. The fit is a slim "hug" and it's very long, almost feels too long. I'm fine with the longer sleeves because it's certainly better than having the opposite. The feel is a combination of waffle texture and fleecy warmth so it's very comfortable to wear.

Good looking. True to size. Comfortable feel. Zipper works well. Just wish that brands would make their jackets/sweaters with and without hoody option.

Great jacket
Nice mid weight jacket. The hood fits well for blocking the weather. Runs a little big.

STELLAR idea (fit needs a little work)
Seriously, so impressed with this jacket on so many levels but unfortunately the length just seems off. I had to order up and got an XL (I'm usually more of a Large). The arm length is still a little short on the XL and the fit is decidedly boxy (kinda like I would expect for something that is too large for me). I still love so much about this jacket that I convinced a guy friend to order one despite the sleeve length issue. I tried his on and although it's a Medium the sleeves are a good 2" longer than mine! The fit was so much better! I would be tempted to just use a men's but the ponytail hole in the hood is hands down THE COOLEST THING! I had no idea I would like this so much but it makes my winter runs so much more enjoyable to not have itchy hair against my neck or to not have braids sticking out of the hood and allowing a path cold cold air to enter. I am keeping ALL my fingers and toes crossed that Mammut continues to offer this jacket and just updates the fit issue so that I can order another one next year. I freaking love it!

Quality is excellent...
The quality is excellent. The hood fits just right and has a ponytail slit. It is a great layering piece and a stand alone piece as well.
