Certain snow-capped peaks have always seemed just out of reach, but the Eigerjoch Light IN Hooded Jacket makes the journey seem doable. Its incredibly lightweight design is still warm enough for the most intense alpine missions thanks to PrimaLoft's innovative Cross Core technology, combining lofty synthetic fibers with Aerogel for increased thermal performance. Harness-friendly pockets and a helmet-compatible hood prepare us for climbing, skiing, or a combination of the two, and one pocket does double-duty as storage that compresses the jacket on warmer ascents.

Light, warm jacket
This jacket provides remarkable warmth considering its weight. I've worn it comfortably in temperatures ranging from -7°C (19°F) to 15°C (60°F). However, it has one issue : when moving, perspiration may cause the interior to become damp. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it for those seeking lightweight travel options.

Solid Mid Layer
The jacket is really warm for its thinness and exactly as advertised in terms of blocking the wind and being small to pack. I have come to like this brand more and more as I know have shells and mid layers. This will be a great multi use item for the fall and mid layer for the winter.

Warm & Incredibly Light
This jacket is incredibly light, you barely even notice that it's on. It fits true to size - I'm 6'0"/185lbs and the Large has just enough room to be comfortable - not constricting at all. I wore it over a T-shirt in mid-20 degree weather and didn't feel chilled. If you need a good underlayer for skiing/snowboarding or something to wear during the winter it's a good choice. The only thing I would note is that the "Night" color isn't gray as shown in the pics, it's more of a navy/dark blue and has a slightly iridescent sheen to it. Not a bad color at all, but don't expect it to match the images Mammut provides.

Awesome Insulating layer.
The jacket is stupid light weight and warm. Use it for snowboarding and other winter activities under my hard shell.

Amazing jacket for cold ice climbing days
I am skinny and tall (6'1" 150lb.) and the jacket size L fits perfectly. The sleeves allow free movement of hands while climbing and do not significantly pull the rim. The hood fits perfectly with and without a helmet. When I saw it the first time I thought it was not thick enough to keep me warm. I climbed in it in single digit temperatures and it performed just great.

Perfect 40 degree jacket
This is a perfect jacket for hikes in 40-50 degree temps! I wear only a light base layer and this jacket.

Reviewing my MAMMUT Eigerjoch Light IN Hooded Jacket
I purchased my MAMMUT Eigerjoch Light IN Hooded Jacket this past winter to wear under my ski school uniform jacket. It is a great complement to my winter wardrobe as it is extremely light and warm. Now that Copper's winter season is over and I am playing in the backcountry, the Eigerjoch Light IN Hooded Jacket has a permanent place in my backpack for the ski down after skinning up. When you purchase the MAMMUT Eigerjoch Light IN Hooded Jacket you I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
