- I've put it through the wringer
I've been using these draws for 4+ years now, and have been really happy with them. They're super light, super easy to clip, and overall hold up well. They'll wear through quickly if you try to use them for sport anchors/top roping (seems like common sense), but they've held up well to the demands of frequent sport climbing. In my most recent order, the gap in the dog bone on the bolt side is bigger than previous orders... there's more room for the carabiner to rotate, but a small piece of light tape closes the gap and easily solves the problem. If the rubber comes out on the rope side.... it is just about impossible to get back in. That being said, I've only had that happen twice in my time of having these. Overall A+, great value and the only quick draws I use for sport climbing.

Light and strong.
- I've used it several times
These are excellent. I use these for sport mostly and it is really worth it to have something so light hooked on to your harness when your hanging off the crag. Only issue is these are quite short so its a good idea to carry one or two long draws with you. Really worth the price though.

- I've put it through the wringer
These draws are super light, really easy to clip and handle and are the best priced draws on the market. Plus they come in a ton of different colors.

Mad Rock Ultralight Quickdraw
I like the biners quite a lot on this draw but the dogbones are junk. The little rubber piece fell out of each of my Mad Rock draws after a few uses, so I've kept the biners but moved them all over to Black Diamond dogbones. All that being said, for the first few uses these were super light and they clip great.

Only Quick Draws I buy
Only ones I buy. I save so much money on the complete quick draw if I need a longer one I can buy just the dog bone and switch the beiners over and have a super light draw. I love these guys for any type of climbing plus they are so cheap for what you get.

Best for the price
No other QD can come close to the price/weight ratio of these puppies, with slick gates to boot.

Super light, wire gates, low price, nothing to complain about. Gotta couple them with longer ones because 10cm is a bit short for overhung routes.

Nice light draw
The beiners are comparable in size to the Mammut Moses. Easy to clip. Beiners are only about 31-33 grams each. Backcountry should start selling the beiners separately. They'd be good racking beiners for cams, etc.

Ummm... A little clarification on this...
Ummm... A little clarification on this product would be nice. How many draws are included for $69.95? Also, the gate opening of 100mm? Somehow I don't think that is possible.
November 26, 2008
It gets you six draws, and the gate opening is 22mm on the bent gate (red) and 23 on the straight (silver). I don't know where 100mm came from. Well spotted.Actually, I ordered one (thinking I'd get six) and I only got one. I have a request in to Backcountry to change their product description and pricing because I don't think these draws are worth $69.95 each. Six is more reasonable for that price.
