Why We Like The LifeStraw Go Series Water Filter 1L Bottle
Staying hydrated on the trail is key, and the LifeStraw Go Series Filter Bottle helps us clean water to stay hydrated. The membrane microfilter in this water bottle filters stream and lake water to eliminate bacteria, parasites, microplastics, and sediments so that we can drink safely, and the activated carbon element provides us with a clean flavor. Speaking of clean, the bottle is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, and by using this package, we can filter enough water to replace up to 8000 single-use plastic bottles.

Good quality, hard to drink
I was really excited to get my bottle and I am still glad to have it for traveling. However, the resistance is fairly high when sucking directly through the straw that by the end of a day of using it I tend to have a headache. As a result, I am not using it as my daily bottle, only for traveling. The quality is high, it's just impractical for me as a heavy water drinker

My Bad
should have read description before I purchased. wanted to filter ice from machine with drinks of my choice... can't use anything but water in it or it contaminates the filter..money wasted..might not be so bad if it wasn't so hard to draw from straw!

I would love it, if it didn't leak
I love my water bootle but it has been leaking a lot. I can't lay it on its side or it will leak despite the top being on the lid being tight. It will also leak from the cap when just standing. Works as a filter, I used it all over Ecuador but not really useful for daily because of the leaks

Do not waste your money.
The straw is very difficult to coax water up. The 5 I bought are pretty much useless. If you leave them for any amount of time they are hard to get going again and it tastes terrible. 4 of these were for children. They got light headed and had sores in their mouths from using these. I am an adult an it is difficult to use and again a few minutes go by and it tastes particularly awful. Had I known all these things I Never would have made such a large purchase and got replacement straws for what turned out to be junk.

Clean water on the go
This works great! We like to travel and water quality can be hit or miss, whether it’s over-chlorinated hotel tap water or from a sketchy rest stop on the road. This helps us get clean water while we’re on the go!

Doesn’t filter Giardia
We are traveling in Nepal and all of us have gotten giardia because it needs a .1 micron filter and the Lifestraw filters are only .2 so it is worthless overseas. The Sawyer filter is.1 micron though.

Buy extra carbon filters and backwash with lid cracked after every drink.
I actually use a zero water filter and this bottle, upgraded(or so I thought) from a standard stainless bottle. One thing I’ve noticed is that after every drink you need to crack the lid and blow into the life straw or the carbon filter will start to stink and taste bad.. a little higher maintenance than expected but I guess it’s still pretty ok.

I love having built-in filter
I love having built-in filter but find it often hard to get water to flow sufficiently when drinking.

Very cool water bottle!
Sometimes the water comes up out of the bottle upon opening the water bottle (like even if its not full it like gathers). Other than that, my boyfriend loves it!!!!
