    Great potential. Poor execution.

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I needed a strong daytime rear light and this looked like it might work. We run Light and Motion and various other well known products, so have reasonable expectations on performance. This was a disappointment right out of the box. It never indicated properly the level of charge, and now it's battery life is very short. This for a light that is used maybe 15 minutes each weekday. Oddly, the cheaper lights we have for the cargo bike are flawless compared to this one.

    Nice colors, okay light

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

Nice, light, and has a long battery life. Could have a better strap system, its chatters when you go over bumps.

    Not reliable...

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

So, I'm asking myself why I got another one, after the 1st light stopped taking a ch7arge after about about a year. I've had the 2nd unit maybe for 6 months of use and now the on / off button is not responding anymore. I'm a bit slow (on and off the bike) but will not be getting another one...

super bright, love that it’s rechargeable. excellent all around.

    Still Riding

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

If the goal of a good tail light is to help avoid collisions then the Zecto scores a perfect 10...so far. In all seriousness, it performs as needed and is easy to use/configure. The only negative mark I can give is the seat post attachment - I feel it's not as flush as it could be. Plus the purple matches my color scheme perfectly. Which, if we're being honest, is half the battle in cycling accessories.

    Perfect and convenient

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This tail light is very well made, and easy to put on your bike, the day light mode is amazing, any car is going to see you on the rode

    Awesome day or night

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Use this mostly during daytime riding on rapid flash mode. Last many hours on full charge. Wife uses it while walking the dog after sun goes down or before sunrise during the winter. She's used it in below 0 temps. Never lost a charge even after using it several times for hours without recharging it. Clips it to the collar of her jacket. I usually clip it on my jersey rear pocket.

Can it be used in a rainstorm?

    I wouldn't....mine has officially died (3rd one).
