Tyton TR Lobster Glove

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I brought these on a ski touring day where the wind at the ridge was brutal, and the lobster construction kept my fingers pooled together warm on the skin track while still letting me grip my pole on the descent. The trigger system clicked in and out fast enough that I never fumbled it at the transition."

Ski touring puts hands through two very different jobs, patient warmth on the way up and real dexterity on the way down, and the Tyton TR Lobster Glove is built around that exact tension. LEKI split the difference with a 1+3 finger construction, pooling three fingers together for shared warmth while keeping the index finger and thumb free for precise pole and binding work.

A SOFT-TEX waterproof insert keeps hands dry through wet snow and sweaty skin tracks alike, while Fiberfill insulation and a wider, well lined cut hold heat even when the temperature drops hard at the summit. Silicone reinforced grip pads and a trigger system built into the palm mean the glove stays connected to a pole strap without any hesitation, and a cuff pull leash keeps it tethered during a glove-off moment at the transition.
