Leki's Cressida AS Trekking Poles pretty much have everything we need for hiking and backpacking. The aluminum is lightweight yet durable for reliable support, and the "AS" stands for the Anti-Shock damping system that reduces impact forces to make things easier on our muscles, joints, and ligaments. We also like the poles' collapsible, 3-section design, which can adjust to almost everyone's body size. That adjustability lets us switch our length for steep uphills or downhills if we want—or lets us share our poles with friends and family members, whatever their height. Finally, the upgraded grip is shorter to fit smaller hands and features an improved ergonomic design that maximizes grip and control on steep downhills. That, plus the soft and adjustable security straps, lets us hike more comfortably and safely, taking pressure off our knees and wrists while adding balance with our new Leki trekking poles.

Absolutely Love Leki!
Cannot say enough good things about Leki hiking poles. I started using them in 2002 when I thought I would have to give up hiking because of my knees. 21 years later and 8000+ miles later, I was still using the same pair. I bought my wife a pair in 2010. Multiple shafts have broken over the years and because they were guaranteed for life, they were all replaced by Leki free of charge with no hassles whatsoever. Unfortunately, on December 31st, 2022, my wife and and I set our Leki poles down after a hike and drove off without them. We were heartbroken. They were our original poles, having conquered 40+ 14,000' peaks in Colorado, as well as supported us hiking in Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, and Liechtenstein. We immediately posted a notice at the trail head offering a substantial reward for their return. Knowing there was a very slim chance at getting them back, we immediately ordered another pair for me and my wife. I ordered the Cressida AS for my wife and the Makalu Lite As for myself. We are very happy with both pairs and can only hope we will have them for as long as our original pair. Jeff Hale
