Have taken these on a few winter hikes in NH and am impressed with their abilities. They’re light, grip well, and hug your feet beautifully. I bought them thinking they’d be versatile for a few seasons of hiking and they definitely are (but not feasible for mountaineering conditions). I’m usually a size 9 and 42 fit great. Definitely recommend these kick ass booties.

Terrific grip, durable, lightweight, and a good bargain on sale. Primarily used for hikes and scrambles, with some short backpacks. These are very good in mixed alpine terrain, off-trail, scree and scrambling. Durability so far is very good, and the wrap around protection should keep it that way. Like most other boots, a half size up worked for me.

We bought a pair of these for my husband for a week of hiking in the White Mountains in NH. Without braking in, they carried my man through over 10 miles of intensive hiking on the first day without a single rub. Lightweight, comfortable, with superior grip on the bare rock (I was sliding in some places in my Asolo boots while he was like a mountain goat, which is understandable since this boot has a bit of a approach shoe feel and design). He said he could complain about a lot of things during that hike, but he did not once think about his feet or shoes. Very nice upgrade to his 10+ year old heavy hiking boots. They are also very pretty in person, the backcountry photo does not do justice to the look of the boot.
