I think these shoes have
I think these shoes have had the least painful breaking time of any shoe I've worn for work. My only problem is that even though it recommended me to get a size 10 because I wear a size 10 in brooks, the shoe seems to be 1/2 a size too big (I do have flat narrow slim feet). With my inserts it's not as bad but my foot still moves around in the shoe a bit. Traction is great, so far water proof has been great. I really hope that the soles don't dissolve like they said they won't. All other water proof shoes end up dissolving the glue and cracking.

Too large.
I have worn size 12 women's utility keens for years and just moved up to men's 10 to 10 half. These shoes were more like a 13 or 14 in womens.

comfortable right of the box
I have worn various different versions of Keen hikers for years, and several versions of the Targhee. I love the wide toe box! The sizing seems different each time around, however. I had to return the 8.5 and get an 8 in this one. I also use after-market insoles to get better arch support. I hope they are a bit more durable than earlier models!

Great every day hiker
I got these for daily wear as I wanted something waterproof and versatile that could be worn to work, errands, etc. and also be good for light walking and hiking. These are truly perfect for that and were pretty much a fit right out of the box. The toe area is wide enough and I sized up a half size (as I usually do with Keen hikers) and am able to wear special insoles with them no problem. Although I selected ‘true to size’ for the sizing it seems like it may not be necessary to size up unless you have insoles or will be wearing thick socks. Overall I am very happy with them and have been wearing them almost daily since purchased. A very stable shoe.

Comfortable fit.

Great outdoor shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for free from influenster for my honest review. These shoes are very comfortable and have amazing traction. I feel like they will last for a long time and are perfect for outside/hiking. My only negative comment is that they do run big so definitely need to order a smaller size (which I did so they fit perfectly!!)

Comfortable and Supportive Hiking Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a pair of Women’s Targhee IV Low WP hiking shoes complimentary from Influenster, to try and provide my honest review of the product. The shoes are very sturdy. I like that the toe box is very roomy, which keeps your feet comfortable on long walks or hikes. The treads are thick and deeply cut , giving excellent traction on wet or slippery surfaces. I like that these shoes are made with recycled materials, and the shoes allow your feet to breathe. They are on the heavier side, but the support and comfort the shoes provide make for a good trade off. My only complaint is that the shoes run quite large. I adjusted by wearing very thick socks with them. That works during the winter. I’m just not sure how hot my feet would get in the summer. Overall, a great hiking or walking shoe. You just may want to order a half size smaller than you usually wear.

I’ve been wearing the Targee hiking boot, sz 9 ½ for years, and love them! This pair runs very large, and looked like plastic. Returned and not interested in trying smaller sizes.

Finally a hiking shoe that can go the distance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truly excited to get the opportunity to try these they were gifted to me for a honest review. I can't say enough good things about these keen target lV hiking shoes frist off they are PHAS free there waterproof and have a membrane to keep the feet dry yet your feet can breathe,the are equipped to take on the heavy terrain and have a cushion design that doesn't compress on long hikes making them comfortable when it counts. There sole are a form of fusion construction which means your not relying on glue to hold the sole in place giving way to more confidence in overall life of the shoe and wear over in time. Bottom line I'd say I would recommend these to any hiking enthusiasts.
