It has great heel holding
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 10 women
This is my 3nd pair. It is the only boot that holds my heel in place. Most boots will not hold a women's heel. But since this boot holds your heel. It is hard to get on. The solution is a shoe horn. My podiatrist loved the boot because it has great ankle support

Good Ones
These boots are very light and comfortable with good arch support. I went up1/2 size and wish I didn’t as after 4 miles there was some rubbing. Glad I had a band-aide for the 4 miles back. I will tie them tighter and wear thicker socks. I like the flex feature across the top of the foot and that there are truly waterproof. Hiking the Annapurna Circuit this fall and think these will be perfect. I bought the Terradora Flex also, while these are specifically designed for women, they were not as comfortable as the Timberwolf Flex. No arch support.

Comfortable and Functional
I am an electrician by trade and these are my second pair of Keens. These boots are comfortable and never really seemed stiff to work in. I am on my feet walking and climbing ladders, under houses, and in attic spaces. I never worry about slipping or lack of traction which is vital in this field. I still have my first pair and bought new inserts for them to use around the yard, hiking, and as a back up pair. I am hooked on Keens for work and pleasure!

a field biologist's best friend
I've learned that a great boot is imperative in the field- it can make or break your hike. I've destroyed countless pairs of boots in a matter of a few months- before i got a pair of keens. They are the only pair of boots that can withstand the outdoors. I recommend keens to all of my biologist friends. perfectly waterproof, the flex seems to be a key factor in how these boots survive constant bending. and, they are PFAS free! I have a pair of keen sandals and boots in 8 & 1/2 (US) and i ordered the same size in these and they ran pretty large. had to send them back for an 8 and possibly could have gone with a 7 & 1/2 even. these run large for some reason.

All season boots
I do trail hikes twice a week in average throughout the year. Definitely they keep my feet dry in rain or in snow. Could get a bit too hot in the summer months, but never caused a single blister from a get go. I didn't realize a wide shoes can be this comfortable! I am pretty sure I'll be buying these boots for as long as I can hike!

VERY uncomfortable on my ankles
These boots are definitely sturdy and seem to be made with good material. The problem is that the supports built into the boots are VERY uncomfortable. After walking around in them for just 5 minutes, the supports in the outer ankle area were hitting my ankle bone so much that they hurt. They fit just fine, true to size. Maybe my height (5'4"), weight (130 lbs), and ankle shape just didn't work well with this design. But I was very disappointed, knowing there was no way I could hike in these. I'm returning them today and looking at other brands for the right hiking boots for me.

Unwearable
The tongue of these boots is designed so that when the boots are tied, the tongue’s attachment fabric rubs against the front ankle joint. I took them out for a short hike, but didn’t even leave the parking lot. After several adjustments failed, I took them off and put on my old boots.

Warm even tho technically not
Warm even tho technically not insulated. Great for all seasons—even winter when snow is not too deep. Love that there is room to wiggle the toes! This my 2nd pair and the first lasted for many years and untold miles of hikes. They were still waterproof but were just losing tread. I have NEVER gotten wet feet in these boots! ❤️

Perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted good boots that I can use during the winter months in Illinois. These run slightly wide, but a good pair of socks should remedy that. Traction is very important to me and I find that these are quite grippy. You can’t really go wrong with Keen. If traction is your key to your purchase, then these are what you need
