The NXIS features a light and agile build inspired by trail running shoes, plus KEEN's iconic toe boxes, which protect our toes while giving them some wiggle room. The NXIS also features a waterproof membrane for soggy hikes and horseshoe-shaped lugs designed to grip muddy downhills, rocky uphills, and slippery sidewalks. At first I felt like
At first I felt like the ankle support was pressing into me but after wearing a few times it adjusted to my foot. I wear a 6.5 typically and I ordered these in a 7, glad I did. Great fit!

Love them- they are warm
Love them- they are warm and have good traction in the snow. They were comfortable the first time I put them on!

Lightweight Summer boot
I live on a farm. I usually wear the wear the Targhee II (my favorite ) with upgraded insoles. I bought these hiking boots as a lighter waterproof shoe for the summer months around the farm. They are comfortable and truly waterproof. I have a narrow foot. I wear the same size in these as the Targhee II. However these boots are a tight fit to get on. It’s a true struggle to push my foot down through the ankle area. The toe is very roomy. They are very supportive around the ankle.

wife loves them
I bought these for my wife for summertime hikers. In winter she has the Pyrenees leather hikers and likes them a lot too. Seeing reviews these run a bit small we ordered 1/2 size bigger and they fit her perfectly. Keen boots are all we wear on the trail these days.

Great purchase!
Such comfortable shoes straight out of the box, I didn't even need to break them in. After reading others reviews, I decided to size up by 1/2 size and am glad I did to give enough room for thicker socks during the colder seasons.
