Excellent Mid-Boot

I was looking for a comfortable mid-tall boot for light trail hiking through damp grassy areas. This boot fits great and is padded in all the right places to prevent any chaffing/blisters from the get go. Good tread and foot/ankle support. Ample toe box. I love the zipper for easy on/off. Seems well-made so I’m looking for years of use like I’ve come to expect from Keen. Thanks for developing another great boot!

I love these boots!

I love these boots! Wore them in Sweden in February in the snow and on icy sidewalks. They were comfortable and warm. I'm a 9, but got a 9.5 mainly because the six previous boots that I'd tried from other companies all ran small. It was a perfect fit. Glad I finally found a good boot. Love the side zipper for easy in and out and the laces to tighten the boot up.

Perfect for snow and ice!

I live in a rural area without good places to walk in the winter except gravel roads that get hard packed with snow and ice. These boots are AMAZING for traction on those conditions. No slipping or sliding and I can get a great walk in. They are comfortable and keep my feet nice and warm - even in below zero temperatures.

Cold rating

The boots are very comfortable, good support. I got them a little big to put extra warm socks in. They are rated to -25, in practice they are only warm to about -5, after that my feet got pretty cold. Overall, I'm very happy with them.

Good fit/short zipper

I like being able to snug up the laces for the right fit but have to loosen them to get the boot off. It seems that if the zipper is there I should be able to use it to get the boot off. But, it is too short to allow my foot out if the laces are adjusted to fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these boots - nice snug fit so my feet stay firmly supported - no frills at the top so I can wear pants over them when necessary - easy entry zipper on the side so no lacing hassles - fantastic!!

Excellent

I wear these every winter season. I work for the post office and these work perfectly for me. I order a half size bigger to wear heat holder socks inside. I live in Minnesota…

Keen: do better

Runs really small, I’m normally an 8 and sized up to an 8.5 to account for wool socks and I could barely get my foot in with regular socks because it was so narrow. My boyfriend had to come pry the shoe off my foot it was so tight. I sized up to a 9.5 and they fit but I still wouldn’t recommend them because they don’t have ANY support. I wore them once and my feet ached. I expected better of keen and shouldn’t have to buy inserts at that price point. One star for being cute and warm.
