Roo

I was going to get the single person size (wallaby) since I don’t need much space but I’m glad I got the double (Roo). The extra fabric just let me close myself in and I can fit another person in to hang out in it together. pretty neat. It’s really strong fabric and even the storage bag is a nice material. I love the quality of this hammock.

    Cadillac Hammok

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This hammok is super lux! The fabric that Kammok uses is super soft and kind to your skin. Not to mention very light! Hammoks are super comfortable and lightweight for a lightweight backpacker. I'd definitley trying a hammok out if you never have!
The size of the Roo is perfect, you can fit two people in it if you would like to just hang out, or if you want to fly solo and take a nap you've got plenty of room for your sleeping pad, maybe a pillow in there.
This is a five star hammok, the cadillac of hammoks. Check out all of the other Kammok hammok products to go with your roo, you will not be disapointed!

    Love Kammok

They make awesome hammock gear all around and I would highly recommend pairing this with the Python Straps. This Hammock is larger than most and has awesome features including carabiners.

Perfect for Camping or Day Adventures

This hammock is extremely good quality and lightweight. Perfect to bring on a day hike, hanging by the water or camping! Highly recommend this brand and product.

        Nap Time

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this hammock. I take it on every outdoor adventure along with my trusty Kammok Pathon Straps. Large enough for my wife, baby, and I to all hang out in and take a snooze. I feel like this durable piece of furniture is going to last me quite a while. Can't wait to try it out camping!

        Great for chilling or backpacking

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I used this a couple times on overnight backpacking trips and this hammock was amazing, especially used with the Python Straps and Glider Rainfly for rainy nights. The carabiners included are solid, I felt really confident in the overall strength of the materials allover. It packs down into the sack sewn in, which doubles as a pocket for the chilling necessities, to about the size of a 24 oz jar. Would Recommend

        Amazing Hammock Fabric

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I own several hammocks of all shapes and sizes and this one is probably the most comfortable, especially for sleeping. I just love how quiet and soft the fabric is. The stuff sack is a great addition you can really make this thing small, much smaller than any of my other doubles. It is a little longer too, which is great, usually, I sleep with my sleeping pad and pillow, along with all of my extra jackets and gear at either my head or feet and I love the extra length for that. It could be a problem if you find two trees that aren't as far apart since this hammock is much longer than most doubles I've used. Overall, I really like this hammock and if you are new to the hammock camping scene this is a great option!

        Amazing Hammock Fabric

        best of the best

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This hammock will be the best one you can buy. If you are a hammock person, I would get this one. The ripstop will keep it going for a while. The python straps were also very nice and don't mess up the bark much. Recommend!

        best of the best

        Great hammock

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We got three of these for use in the yard and on camping trips. We also got the python straps. The work together beautifully. We're very happy with this purchase.

        Really like this Hammock

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This thing is really great, not only is the material stronger then any other hammock on the market, with the purchase you get two amazing Carabiners and climbing rated slings!! This may be just a bit more expensive then other hammocks but it is too worth the extra money, this hammock will last you at least twice as long as any other!! I really love Kammock and the way they produce there equipment, vary inventive!! I have the Bug net Hammock, and Straps, i am hoping to get the rain fly soon!! I am really excited to see the future of this company and the products they make!!

        Easy Set Up, Easy Enjoyment.

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this thing. It is incredibly easy to set up, incredibly easy to take down, and feels safe and durable. I have no doubt in my mind that it will last a long, long time. My husband and I are both relatively little (both about 140 lbs), so we can both fit in it pretty comfortably, but it won't have all the excess to let you live in a mini cocoon if you share. Definitely comfier with one person, but which hammock isn't? I use it for reading and relaxing, and have no issues expressing my love for it.

If you've never set up a hammock before, check out the video posted by Jason Blagman. Super helpful.

THIS DOES NOT COME WITH STRAPS. You'll want to purchase the Kammock Python Straps, or most other daisy-chain-esque straps should work just fine.

        Amazing

That is literally all that needs to be said about this product and it comes with a lifetime guarantee. I have added a video URL link to show how to set up the kammok as I have seen quite a few questions in regards to the best way to do so. Enjoy your Kammok Roo and enjoy life.

          Kammok is one awesome hammock

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I really can't say enough good things about the Kammok Roo Hammock. This Hammock has Kammok's proprietary diamond ripstop fabric with lunarWave, which makes it crazy strong, lightweight, breathable, and tear resistant. It also has a self storage compression sack that is attached to the hammock, which stuffs down to the size of like a grapefruit. And comes with Kammok's patent-pending Kanga Claw carabiners and the Dyneema Racer Slings. I have the Python daisy chain straps also and man it totally makes all the difference in the ease of use for setting it up. I used to own an older Eno hammock and would use my own webbing to sling it up, and now after using the Kammok hammock with the Python straps I don't know why I ever wasted so much time trying to come up with my own rigs. Also if I have to compare kammok to Eno, the Kammok is way more comfortable in my opinion and best of all you can even fit two people in it. I've been traveling with it for the last couple of weeks and honestly its my favorite piece of gear at the moment, and its super lightweight weighting in at only 24oz so backpacking with it not noticeable on the shoulders. Overall your going to spend a bit more on this hammock vs others, but like they say “you get what you pay for” and to me paying the extra money is worth it. Kammok really makes a very comfortable hammock, one in which I took many naps in and I also enjoy how easy the setups are. I would recommend the Kammok Roo to anyone who enjoys hammock camping, values comfort, ease of use, portability for travel, and anyone who just loves to chill out while enjoying the outdoors.

          Kammok is one awesome hammock

HUGE upgrade from my old hammocks.

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Kammok epitomizes quality and safety. My last hammock was a cheap Grand Trunk hammock, after using it for a year it ripped completed, catapulting me on to the hard ground. I chose kammok for my new hammock and I haven't been disappointed. The fabric is super soft, tear-resistant and light. The carabiners are climbing approved and add to the excellent safety of the Roo, I mean if it has a lifetime warranty you know its good! I love my Roo and I will definitely buy it as gifts for friends and family!

          Kick back in the Roo!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This hammock is incredible! I picked one up before my weekend camping trip and I am so glad that I did! I paired it with the Kammok Python straps and strung it between two trees near the edge of a cliff on Gooseberry Mesa. I napped in this thing every day and every time I got out someone else would jump in!

The materials are super strong and I doubt this thing will ever rip! There are a few gear loops on each side that a perfect for hanging a water bottle or a set of keys. The stuff sack is a little tight with the roll top, but once you get it packed in the water resistance of the bag is a nice touch to have. The Roo is also huge, about 10 inches longer than your standard double hammock, and this allows for a very comfortable diagonal laying position. Pair all that with the awesome color selection and you have one amazing hammock!

If you have any questions about this hammock, or any other related products, please contact me directly.

          Kick back in the Roo!

          Kammok for the win!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have tried other hammocks out there, and Kammok has certainly made not only the best looking hammocks with the best color options, but the comfort is superior as well. I take me Kammok almost everywhere with me. I have used the hammock in the backcountry as an added blanket for warmth and a nice spot to sit down on even when there is not a place to hand it. They also make a great trail quilt that I frequently bring with me on my adventures. It pairs great with the hammock for that extra layer of warmth.

The material of the hammock is very strong, and I highly doubt this will ever rip. The Python straps are extremely durable as well with lots of size options for varying lengths that may be needed. It comes designed it's patent-pending Kanga Claw carabiners and the Dyneema Racer Slings. The hammock weighs in at only 24oz so backpacking with it not too noticeable.

This hammock rocks! Go get one! Or all the colors!

          Kammok for the win!

          The best hammock around.

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I can't recommend the Roo hammock enough! I love the vibrant colors and the size of this hammock. This hammock is so easy to hang up, and I have found that it is the perfect way to entertain kids who may be harder to entertain in the outdoors than adults! We have piled our entire family into our Roo, and it holds all of us nicely.

I used to unpack my Roo each time I went somewhere, but now I leave it in my car so I'm not disappointed if I forget to pack it! I used it all winter when I would hike, as a place to sit at the top of the mountain instead of sitting in the snow. I also have slept in it during the summer when I don't have a tent.

You will find many uses for this hammock, and I have started to wonder how I went so long without one!

          The best hammock around.

          Perfect Adventure Companion!

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This hammock is tough, comfy, compact, and just pretty! After a day of adventuring, it's the best for pulling out, stringing up, and just relaxing. Nothing lets you take in the views or the moment quite like the Roo, and oh-so-much more civilized than eating your dinner on the ground :) A must for anyone who loves getting out!
