This ingeniously-designed, ISPO award-winning tool comes with an interchangeable ice axe head that transforms the shaft of your shovel into a B-rated ice axe. It doesn't stop there, however. Webbing holes in the blade allow you to use it as a dead man anchor, and it also comes with the Rescue Kit hardware that slides inside the shovel shaft and includes four screws, four wing nuts, and a carry bag with assembly instructions for fashioning an evac sled by attaching your shovel to your K2 BackSide skis.
