The Icebreaker 260 Tech Legging with Fly is one of those classic, midweight baselayers that give us everything we want when we're backpacking, camping, skiing, and snowboarding. The merino wool weave feels soft against our skin with natural fibers that moderate our temperature and minimize moisture to keep us warm and dry in the outdoors. We like these as our sleeping layer for cool and cold weather camping and as our next-to-skin layer to wear under our hiking pants or ski pants for added insulation.

I would buy again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No odor after 3 days of use in hot/cold/humid Alabama hunting weather. I hanged the top and bottom in bathroom inside out and used for 3 days of hunting. No odor! Soft and warm.

Great base layer for Midwest winter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great to use under pants to bike my kid to school or walk to the grocery store. Holds up well after washing. Great moisture wicking properties for active wearers.

Dissappointed
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Men’s large
I bought these a month ago and have used a handful of times. I bought them to replace an old pair of SmartWools. Fabric quality is good but the waist band is awful. The old Smartwool waist band never rolled the new ones roll every time. I’ll buy SmartWool next time.

amazing except for the waistband
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Icebreaker baselayers are the best, I always get them. These are predictably great, comfy and super warm without being hot indoors. My only complaint is the waistband.... it rolled up immediately when I put these on and stayed rolled forever. I'm petite and they fit me, and this has never happened with any icebreaker leggings of mine in the past. Did they make the waistband out of a new material? Is it less wide than it used to be? Not sure, but I would really love it to be thicker/wider and stay put, because the rolled waistband gets really uncomfortable fast. I would also love to see these come in shorter lengths and XS sizing. Otherwise, they're amazing.

Warm and Cozy
The 260 is great for those 0F days whether on the lift or going for a skin or hike. I like wear these when I sit by the fire on a hut trip. All my Icebreaker clothing is top notch. I've been able to use a regular wash with a low heat dry setting and have no shrinking or issues. No itch fabric. The fabric wicks and dries quickly

Best leggings yet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for a base layer for backcountry skiing and am thrilled with them. Great warmth, excellent fit, and the high-quality wool I've come to expect from Icebreaker. Simply the best.

Pretty good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did some work at 6500 to 7500 feet in SE Idaho in March. The temperatures were from 30-50. These were perfect. I typically am more sensitive to cold than the average person.
